So the new Make Up For Ever HD Skin Foundation has definitely become a favorite. After wearing this new formulation I've had no irritation, breakouts, or any wear time difficulties. I think this new foundation would work with a lot of skin types, especially dry skin. It photographs BEAUTIFULLY, and can be layered without any cakey results. I am freakin' LOVING it, and would really like to know what your thoughts are on the HD Skin replacing the beloved Ultra HD Foundation.

I never used the old formulation. I have normal skin. I applied my concealer before my Make Up Forever in 2Y36/2B01. It worked really well for me I used a make up brush. I was flawless for 12 hours afterwhich I washed it off.

This foundation has such a pretty and natural finish. That’s hard to find for dry skin, especially with good coverage. Thanks for the thorough review, I’ve been looking for new foundation and I can’t wait to get my hands on this one!
This foundation is so beautiful! I also have sensitive and dry skin, but i tend to get oily in my T zone. This works perfect for me!! Stays on all day, my skin looks smooth and it really is undetectable. The only thing I don’t love is the shade range, I found my shade eventually but it took me some time to get there lol
Understand that struggle- in general. Mine moves around a good bit depending on how much 🌞 I get
MUFE HD Foundation was the first high-end foundation I bought many, many years ago. I always loved it, and their concealer too - the best. This new formulation looks great!
This foundation makes your skin look amazing! It's so natural and light but it has great coverage at the same time. How is this even possible?! I'm definitely buying this haha. Also, that Flexi desk looks so pretty. Most "flexi" desks are just ugly lol

I hadn't tried the original but you've sold me on this one! I've been looking for a foundation to wear to a couple of weddings this summer. I've always just bought drugstore makeup but now I'm in my mid-late 20s I have more texture, pores, fine lines etc. and I want a good foundation that will last all day & not crease/move around/look cakey

I honestly skip ads and sponsorship sections of videos, but you were so entertaining in this one. And honestly, I just started working a full 8 hour day creating content for a website... And it's tiring as hell. I really don't have a good desk set up between recording equipment and my computers. I do have a mini standing desk that I have on my dining room table which is helpful because I have a spinal fusion, so a combination of sitting and standing is helpful! Anyways, this was the long-winded version of 'thank you' for the info on the desk! I'll definitely check it out and I'm glad I didn't fast forward! 😘

When this sets down, does it lean yellow or pink? I'm thinking this might be my shade. Does it oxidize much? I'm neutral leaning yellow and trying to decide between N06 or Y04. It looks FABULOUS on you!

If she amazed with the foundation, imagine how i feel today am wearing it too. My skin is sensitive, purging after retinol, and flakily dry. I owned Chanel, Dior, Armani, CT, but they are nothing to compare with this. I never felt my skin (esp my pores) looking so tame and clean, airbrush look 👀 if only I found it sooner.

@@iveju7683 u prob can ask for some samples before buying the bottle. I recently found out that the product makes the skin surface a bit drier (prob bcs I changed my moisturizer, I use cicaplast).

I bought this one and I found it really drying compared to Ultra HD. That’s basically my only complaint, actually. I love the finish, but I have to spray a moisturizing spray on my face otherwise it stays very dry and scaly. I have dry skin, and I’d say it leans toward very dry in the winter months. How do you prep your skin for this??? Or do you have any tips for skin prep? I love the finish of it.

I am a new pal! Getting ready to watch this. I am a 57 year old chick with dry/sensitive skin and I am desperate for someone to tell me what foundation to buy! It is like I need someone to tell me brand and color like I am a 12 year old...😂
As far as concealer go one shade lighter than your foundation. Kosas has a very nice hydrating one and the Olehenriksen wrinkle blur eye cream is amazing for hydrating your under eye before concealer and also smooths everything out to prevent creasing. It’s expensive but Sephora is having a sale starting April 1st. It lasts forever too. The best non drying powder is Pat McGrath under eye powder and I use it to set concealer and on the face as needed. I also use the eye cream on wrinkles on my face and then also put concealer over them to smooth them out and then set with the powder. ByTerry hydra primer is amazing for plumping and hydration. Some of these can be found for less on second hand selling apps brand new. I use the one with the m. I would write it out but sometimes my comments get deleted when I do. My name is the same elsewhere if you have any more questions or need anymore help.

Absolutely stunning on you!! Flawless & NATURAL looking skin like!! I also think you might be wearing what my perfect shade/color match would be. I have Makeup Forever Reboot Y220 & it’s a bit dark I lighten it up. The Y218 seems it would be perfect!! I wish the Reboot had that same color/shade, their Y218 in the Reboot is very pink not as yellow toned as the Y218 in the HD you’re wearing.

That is my transfer shade from tbe origional formula (y215)for some reason it looks really orange on me. Getting married sep 30, 23 and i may need a new foundation.

I'm sorry I'm confused, which shade did you use.. Y218 or 1N06?
I have super dry sensitive skin so love your recommendations . Do you think with a rash this would be able to cover it? I have a sort of rosacea butterfly rash so I need more of a high medium coverage at the least to tone that down. Im super interested in this foundation but saw it had a matte finish on Sephora or ulta and steered away . But you have changed my mind.
Using pressed powder helps me a lot with leftover redness ❤️

It does have fragrance and I just wish they’d remove it. I can’t even try it because my face always breaks out from fragrance.
Did you find it to be drying at all? I’d like to try this for the summer, but the high alcohol content is a little concerning. I’m 52 with very dry skin.

I always like the 24h claims because I have had worn foundation for many hours when traveling , so I like that. And always wash my face before I sleep. So that’s on the person , not the company ….
Why do they keep changing this foundation? I have the one before the one before this still, just a bottle in my drawer, I haven't used it in forever.
