I had this game (may I still have the CD) and I'm happy it's aging well. I only could play with software rendering back then. It looks great with HW rendering!
What a simulator to be released in 1998, everything is done right, the radio chatting between friendly aircraft when you are close to them, the radio chat before take off, b*i*ing Betty warnings, the notching detail, stealth configurations to sneak in behind enemy lines, even the enemy AWACS sends you interceptors when you run an Interdiction mission. My favourite simulator ❤
It's pretty similar on the surface - but sadly it lacks any economic aspects like buying weapons, fixing or replacing your aircraft when shot down with your earned money. The cash you earn acts only as a scoring systems, nothing more. The missions are quite interesting though.
@@Pillow_Cat TAW 2.0 actually made the moon smaller, but it's still bigger than IRL. There is a bug in 2.0 though, the moon will be as in ADF/TAW when you switch to NVGs.

I used to play cyberpunk 2077 and Ready or not... But today, I play F22 TAW, what a SIMULATOR!

TAW is one of the best sims made
Can you imagine this being on Steam or GOG? Would have been a huge comparison with “Strike Commander”.

Probably saw it as modded TAW 2.0 version only, can assume bein moon even bigger shall give some bits of horror vibe :D
