- The rise of Steven Kwan, "This is far beyond anything that
I could have even possibly dreamed of." "Me coming out of college would be crazily shocked about where he is now."
His career started with a hit in Kansas City and 5 hits in a game 3 days later. Kwan saw 116 pitches into his MLB career before his first swing and miss. He later hit his first home run at Progressive Field on May 5th, and first career grand slam vs. Texas Rangers on September 25th, the day the Guardians clinched the AL Central championship.
Steven Kwan led all AL rookies in hits (168) and runs (89), and he owned the second-highest fWAR of left fielders in the Majors (4.4). And for the Guardians, Kwan was the leadoff hitter, leading his team in average (.298) and on-base percentage (.373), while drawing the second-most walks on the squad (62). Kwan finished 3rd in AL Rookie of the Year voting.
His remarkable catches in left field vs. Colorado Rockies, Seattle Mariners and Baltimore Orioles led to him winning a AL Gold Glove.
Also hear from manager, Terry Francona and teammates, Triston McKenzie, Cal Quantrill, Shane Bieber, Myles Straw, Konnor Pilkington, Nolan Jones, Josh Naylor about what makes Steven Kwan a great MLB Player.

Always had a good feeling when SK came to the plate in the postseason. Like any great lead off hitter, he flat out makes things happen.
It was really insightful hearing Bieber, Plesac and McKenzie talk about how difficult Kwan would be to pitch to.
Not a Cleveland fan but I like and respect Kwan and Ramirez.
He was so fun to go watch live this year
So many outstanding plays, needed a longer video to include all of them!
A true Guardian. Ohio loves you brother.
I love his demeanor and attitude
Can't wait to see him follow up a great season! Go get 'em kid!!!!
For Steven Kwan to have made it means he not only had to be as good but much better for scouts and coaches to even notice and give him a chance. Most high school coaches will cut you just based on looks, he’s a small guy, he’ll never make it.
Love this kid. Skies the limit for him
What a gentleman 👏
I was at kwans first home run game! That was pretty cool, love that kid!
Steven Kwan's play is just like Ichiro Suzuki's. 💖💖
@Andrew An Ho Yes. Hope for no injury.
Maybe not p.c. but...hits like Oh and runs like Ichiro!!
its all about attitude, discipline and character

I thought he was geek squad at first but the dude is tough as nails making plays into walls and fences, etc.

Definitely tough. Diving into stands, running into walls. I need me a Kwan jersey.
