girl your positive outlook seriously inspired me. I have my first day at the hospital tomorrow and I’ve been anxious and not wanting to go even though all I want to do is help people. You just inspired me to remember this is all about helping people. I’m blessed to have the opportunity. THANK YOU.
I was waiting for you to upload! Also, I took my NCLEX-PN today! I got 85 questions so I’m hoping that’s a good sign that I passed. I’ll be able to find out in 48 hours! Edit (6/27/19): I passed!!! I’m an LPN! I start Tuesday. ☺️
Can you do tips on packing lunches for a 12hr shift and a variety of foods I struggle so bad and have no idea where to start. I struggle with getting sick of eating the same thing when meal prepping. 😑😭 Any Meals ideas please link below or comment below. Trying to be healthy I'm struggling so bad.
OMG!! New subbie!! I started at your recent videos now I’m back at the older stuff from when you first started school. I live in Cleveland too and I start nursing school in a month! I can’t wait! I’m loving your videos and feel so excited for school again. Congratulations on making it to graduation!!
Pleaseee do a video about exactly what all you do as a PCNA! I’m a senior in high school this fall and I’m taking a CNA training course - I’ll be assigned a resident at a nursing home so it’s probably a little bit different than what you do, but I would love to have an idea of what it is like! 🤗
I worked as a cna in a hospital. You assist patients with using the bathroom, help clean them and make sure their comfortable. Cna is assiting with acts of daily living.
Going to suggest something else!! I'm doing a 2 year program through high school which allows me to graduate with my CMA which is a certified medical assistant other than a CNA which is nursing. If you want to work in more of a hospital setting do CMA! if you want to work with more of a older/assisted living area do CNA!
madi! I literally just discovered your vids yesterday - obsessed!! im going into my senior year of hs in the fall, and I’m planning on becoming a CNA first before I reach my dream of RN. (maybe BSN - hopefully!) Hoping to work at the children’s hospital I got my spine surgery at in the future! You’re so inspiring - keep going girl!!
I am a senior in high school and am able to take a Nurse Assisting class through my school! Last year I was in a Health Careers class and got to learn about all the basics of health care and this year I got to choose between a nursing specific class or another general health care class. I chose nursing so I will graduate high school as a CNA! I'm super excited but also scared because I don't know exactly what to expect. I love watching your videos because I plan on going into a nursing program after I graduate :))
Cayla!!!!!! That is so so so amazing!!! Good for you and congrats!! That is such a big accomplishment especially being a senior!! Don’t be worried you will learn so much each day at work and will love it!💗💗💗 I am rooting for you!
omg girl i haaaate the voceras. they never seem to hear me when i speak!!! but i’m transferring from a transporter position to a PSA (same thing as you, different name) next month. i’m so excited!!
I was not expecting all of that hair to come out of your bun 😍 I’m in term 2 of a LPN program. I applied to the network (I recognize the scrubs 😉) as a PRN-PCNA to finish school. I’m praying I get hired. Are you still working during your RN program?
Omg I’m so excited i came across this video!! Cleveland nurses rock!!! I was watching and recognize the car screen and put it together, duh but I’m subscribing and spreading to word!!
with fall semester approaching can you do more study tip videos, I'm enrolled in AP II & chem I, I am worried about studying for both so I can do well !!
Girl, Cleveland Ohio ?! I knew where you were eating lunch and graters is sooo yum!!! I’m going to nursing school in canton OH. Good luck with your journey, I love your channel!!
i just found you , and i love you already i really wanna be a nurse and i love how your sharing your journey i feel like i’m on the journey wit you lol . 🥰❤️
i’m so happy i found your channel! i start school in the fall for pre nursing! i also live near CLE! i’m working as a home health aide right now! i’m so excited to follow along on your nursing journey!
Hey girl! I actually got the SAME red, dry patches in the same spots and it was when I was tanning a lot :(. I used to get in the tanning bed and go to the beach a ton and unfortunately once I stopped tanning (hello fake tan) it hasn't come back. I used a cortisone cream to clear it up!
Girl your videos are amazing !!!!!! I'm also a PCT and applying for nursing school this fall and we also use voceras at the hospital I work at and we also wear hunter green 😂
I thought maybe PCNA was a pediatric CNA. I was also a CNA before PA school. I believe I learned a lot of bedside manner from that. We will see when I start clinicals in August. Also, my fav scrub bottoms are heart soul. I used to use cheroke until I wore a hole in the thighs. I feel these hold up better. I also use the grays anatomy top. I won some figs so soon I get to see how those are and I hard they are amazing, but too expensive for me to buy while in grad school loans. :/
I can see that you are passionate about everything you do and that is so amazing! I hope you stay positive all the time 🙏❤️ I'll start my last year of nursing on September and I'm freaking out I feel like I still SO young 😭😂😂😂😂 btw I just subscribed and I'm about to finish watching all the videos you've uploaded 🤩😂💗
I love watching these video's! I'm still trying to figure out what I wanna do. I love helping people out and I also love helping animals too. It's so cool you live in Cleveland. I lived in Rootstown my entire life!🙂💖
for your dry patch use vitamin e just on that little spot! i get those around my nose and on my elbows bc of stress girl and vitamin e is the only thing that’s helped me
So happy for the upload! Always nice to watch your videos! I honestly would watch an hour of your life LOL. Can't wait for your nursing school haul! XOXOXO
Hopefully I’m starting school this August and I’m a long way from nursing school, I’ll be a freshman but your videos help me by looking forward to it. I love your videos!
I currently already work at a hospital as a pharm tech, and starting school in August to pursue nursing. And I find this channel soo soo helpful. From the tips and the attitude over all. I really want to start some of the same routines because let me tell youuu life is hectic right now. So thank you thank you thank you! I look forward to follow your journey specially in nursing school for when I’m in the actual program I can feel way more familiar with it ❤️❤️
I love doing oatmeal face mask (grind your oatmeal, add milk, honey and maybe a little bit of lemon) do it for like 2 to 3 days and you'll see how much it helps the skin. ( i keep it on for like 30min)
Every couple of rooms I like to wash my hands(like after the third room) , not only because it feels cleaner to me, but it makes them less icky from the foam! 😩 although my instructor is VERY keen on total hand wash coming out of a room.
Try something with hyaluronic acid for the dry patch. If you want a good (and inexpensive) way to get some deep hydration, Etude House has really great hyaluronic acid sheet masks. I got a pack of 13 for $15 on Amazon and they are amazing.
Hey girl, I'm about to get certified as a cna and I was wondering at the hospital. If we could choose the 3 days out of the week we work. For instance if I wanted to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Do you think they would let me ?
I work as a PCT (patient care tech) at a hospital. Some places allow you to have a “set” schedule some times they allow you to pick which days you work!
So the dry patch can be from a certain skin condition it's a type of dermatitis that worsen if you have too much caffeine or leave makeup on too long..since u have stated u had it before I'm guessing u have an extremely mild case of it..atopic dermatitis
Kheils has some really good products for all skin types. You can most likely find something that helps with your dry patch like overnight masks. They come in all different sizes and they do samples so you can try things to find out what works best for you!
I used to get those spots on my smile lines too! Mine were super painful. I went to the doctors a lot for it they said it was fungus, eczema, dry skin... like they never said really what it was but I would always put antibacterial cream on it and then I got on a steroid for it and they never came back!
For that dry patch use coconut oil or it means your dehydrated. Even if you think your drinking a lot of water sometimes its not enough so drink more water.

Hey Maddie, can I still apply for nursing school when I haven’t took enough prerequisites yet, there’s 7 and I took 5 so far. I just don’t wanna wait 4 months doing nothing
it depends on your school! I would ask and see, personally I would recommend getting all the prerequisites out of the way before you actually start nursing school(:
madi's nursing journey - Best stuff ever. Lol. When you do the scrubs, you put it in holder that holds the fabric softener in the washing machine, and it sanitizes your scrubs when it does the rinse cycle. It's in the laundry aisle. And the info is on the back of the bottle.
I know you posted this a while ago buttt I used to get the same thing and I started using hydrocortisone. I used three different medications recommended to me and none of them worked like this did!!
It may be psoriasis... psoriasis can pop up during stressful times... Mine started popping up when I was 32.... I hadn’t ever had it before... try using cortisone cream ...
Hi! I loved your video! I’m starting my OTPT assistant program in the fall. I was wondering if a hospital would have a OTPT who works with premature babies? What colour would they be if an OTPT does have a position in the hospital?
oh! Sorry! OTPT stands for Occupation and Physiotherapy. I would like to go into Neonatal therapy. Though I’m coming to the conclusion that there are neonatal nurses?
I think it helps a lot to be a CNA before RN! You learn a lot like time management patience and emotional intelligence
yes I think it is going to help me so much(:
I second this!
I’m doing my CNA before for this reason plus you have to do the dirty work first 🤷🏼♀️ you have a better understanding for what nurses really do.

Hi! I loved your video!
I’m starting my OTPT assistant program in the fall.
I was wondering if a hospital would have a OTPT who works with premature babies? What colour would they be if an OTPT does have a position in the hospital?
what does OTPT stand for
oh! Sorry! OTPT stands for Occupation and Physiotherapy. I would like to go into Neonatal therapy. Though I’m coming to the conclusion that there are neonatal nurses?
