My girlfriend and I stumbled into a small tent back in 2007 at a music festival when Ben was in Australia, it was only Ben his keys and a handfull of other listeners. It must have been the same visit when he recorded this one. She had never heard of him before but after hearing him live his songs were often on repeat on road trips especially penny on a train track where we had to play "air piano" every time.
Watching this reminds me of how good he was live. What great cover!

Where he’s always been and probably always will be just like the rest of us locals here in Austin, Tx. No better place in the world to grow up, especially before it was “the place to be” and all these other people moved here.

Unfortunately, his son passed away somewhat recently…really sad. He’s still managed to remain a staple here in Austin, always will be, and he’s better than ever! As you can see with this cover! This is a beautiful tribute to his son too. A lot of emotion.
