I’m so incredibly happy that you enjoy spending time in our country! The vlog is so beautiful and hopefully, we’ll see more videos like this from you! xxx
@@MattandJulia Deffo! Hope Georgia gets better roads so that people can get a chance to visit these magnificent places! I just hope that the beauty gets to be preserved too and that all the cute dogs get a loving forever homes!
What an incredibly beautiful spot! I so hope the village can recover and those ancient homes can be restored - although I can appreciate the danger of landslides and avalanches! That road was breathtaking - I would never have the courage to drive it! Thanks for your videos, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Hi Elizabeth, thank you so much, so glad you are enjoying our videos 😍❤️ We really do to, so much potential to make the village in to a real tourist hot-spot 😊 they are slowly but surely upgrading the road, our driver said 2 years and it should be fully paved 🙏🏻😊 Love to Canada! 😍
Wow! Now that looks like paradise! Scary roads though. Difficult for my mind to correlate your remarks on the heat with the snowy peaks in the background. Held my breath for you crossing that stream Julia ... 😁😉
It is absolutely stunning there, we didn’t know where to look 😧🥰 The roads were dodgy, apparently they used to be even worse. I would have gotten out of the car and walked if that was the case haha! We were thinking that as well, sort of doesn’t make sense when you are so hot but can see the snow not so far from where you are 😅 Oh Johan, you should’ve seen 15 minute part that I had to cut out when I just couldn’t do it , I was walking around from one place to another hahahah
Shame Julia! Maybe some part of me was hoping for a mishap in that stream... 😁😁😁 Matt should have done the honorable thing and bought himself some points carrying you across; but maybe he was also secretly wishing for a mishap to capture on video? hahaha

Hello to my new favorite travel blogger. 😁 I tend to stay away from remote places when I travel, even in my own country. Lol. Keep safe you guys, and stay away from misadventures like that horseback riding experience.
Hello I love the videos you post. This place you are now is beautiful.I would love to see this in person. The roads are awful there, looks like they are just making them
The highest settlement in Europe is a village Bochorna, at tusheti region, u must go there, that will be absolutely different experience for u, Welcome to Georgia!
Ah.Prince from Pakistan, wow Matt and Jolia , Weldon such a informative video to arrange it is a tuff job made possible u a nice couple we love u all , GOD bless u so plz take care by.
I have helped with the maintenance of the Cumbres & Toltec narrow-gauge railroad equipment (a living museum) in Chama, New Mexico at 2,899 meters in the southern Rocky Mountains pf Northern New Mexico. From there, I rode by train to Osier, Colorado, a former toll road stop and railroad stop that has a restaurant for the train passengers. Nearby is the Toltec Gorge, where I was able to watch a rotary snow plow clear 12 foot snow drifts in May to open the railroad up for the summer.
How did you discover this remote village? How did you find accommodations to stay? Did you have to book in advance to stay in room there? Is the trek ever physically too difficult for either of you? How do prepare for all this walking? Of course being young makes it easier. I am much, much older, senior citizen age and would not attempt it. Could when I was young though. Do you also take still photos or only videos?
Best video yet; spectacular scenery. Your Russian language skills appear to have been vital to making this trip. It reminded me of the area around Peshawar, Pakistan but much greener. We want to visit Turkey and Georgia next year; especially if the BTK (Baku, Tbilisi, Kars) train begins offering passenger service.
Thanks so much Dennis! 🙌 Yeah definitely, it's been really helpful both in the Georgia and Armenia so far😊 Ahhh, sounds incredible! Hopefully they do! Also, you can take the train from Ankara to Kars as well right? Would be an awesome adventure 😊
Thanks a lot for sharing this video Questions: How did you get to Ushguli ? How much u pay to get there ? Second: this Ushguli is very well known for making cheese . Did u find any farmer who sells cheese from Ushguli ?
Such a beautiful area! It is so interesting to see how other people live around the world! Thank you!❤️ that road was scary lol the most remote place I’ve been is probably in a small town / road in the Black Hills South Dakota- which is our happy place!
Nice. This one actually IS geographically in Europe. But I'm certain the villages further to the east are even more remote and untouched. But I feel a lot of these villages are slowly losing their traditional vibe with the construction of modern buildings and tourist hotels. From a traveler's perspective, this may be disappointing, but at the same time we have to remember that these are real people who want to make their lives easier. They don't want to be stuck in the past for the sake of cultural tourism. But you can also argue that the authenticity is the reason tourists come in the first place, so what will happened if that authenticity is slowly eroded away?
Fantastic place!! I'm going for sure. BTW, pigs only have sweat glands in their feet---also why they are not eaten by some religions. But you know...bacon.
Oh , I didn’t know about their feet, that’s very interesting! Hahahah, we always find that bacon smells better than it tastes but to be fair it still tastes awesome 😅
