@@valentinoorellano7430He wasn’t gonna win this match. He lost the first set and kinda choked, probably was gonna lose the second set as Nadal was gaining momentum. Not only that, but Nadal is far more physically strong than Zverev so even if Zverev won the second set to get to 1-1, Nadal would’ve been heavily favored to keep his level up for longer.
@@SJ-di5zu clearly you didn't watch that match and vs Alcaraz. Zverev was playing superlative tennis. We don't know what could have happened but he had high odds of winning roland garros.
Off.. it was like a war. Rafa showed why he is called the king of clay. Although unfinished (probably the best unfinished match ever), I hve never seen Zverev playing so well on clay.
I admire Sascha for his prowess, aggressiveness in the game and unpredictability. He played with Nadal as an equal. Much better than the weak Casper Ruud in the final. I seriously believed that if this match had gone on and there had been no injury to Zverev then Sascha could have really won this match.
Even Zverev's parents wouldn't have picked him to be the winner against Rafael Nadal in this game. But anyway he really gave tough competition to Rafael Nadal at the clay court. Really superb game from both of them.
just because Nadal is older? He overturned the first set and this can affect Zverev's confidence. I have no freakin idea why so many people think Zverev was gonna win when he's score was behind
@@anseinueseima408 Nadal had 3 more points. They were playing on an equal level. If you're 100% sure that Nadal would've won this then you're a delusional fanboy.
@@Giftick1 he will because he's mentally stronger and as you said he had won 3 more points so why are people inclined toward Zverev if they are playing equal level and Nadal slightly better? you are sayin nonsense lol
I watched it live...the end is one of the saddest tennis moments I've seen. Seeing Zverev in so much pain almost brings tears to my eyes even today. The 1st set was absolutely incredible, the 2nd set was full of errors but still a tough fight with some really good points.
Might be best unfinished match ever
3 hours long and only second set!! This would havr been a match for the ages
The way he conquered the first set is tennis legacy
I always come back to this match to imagine where Zverev could have become as a player if he continued.
same bro, he definitely could have won the tournament and become world number one.

well today you got your answer!
No way can you say Zverev would have won this match, how do you back against Nadal?
Highly energetic and Breath taking unfinished match forever. Both of them were fighting really hard for each point.
3hours for less than 2 set .... What a match

Ce match aurait dû rentrer dans la légende 😢
09:10 Impressionnant.
Show the points where Nadal wins man.

Este podría haber sido el partido más largo en la historia de Roland Garros. 3 horas para menos de 2 sets
