No joke, I actually watched this entire menu before I started the game on multiple occasions. That's how epic it was. Still the best Arkham game and the best superhero game ever made.
Nah. Origins just copied what City had and made it just Batman punching people. Gameplay-wise they just copied it too. And yes the graphics do look really nice, but is it worth it when everything just pops in all of a sudden?

The first frame is an homage in of itself to Arkham Asylum. They just captured the atmosphere, lighting, rain and other effects, bats in the background, better than Origins did. This really did feel like a finale.

The transitions are like that so you can appreciate every detail. The placings are superb, if anything Origins doesn't place Batman and the enemy in full visible spectrum.
When I first played this game. It was when Catwoman saved Batman after he regained consciousness. I walked out as Batman and saw Arkham City getting destroyed and helicopters in the air shooting missiles as this theme song played. It gave me chills. I'll never forget that moment.
I love this franchise. . It just shows how much Batman is willing to go through just to protect his city... How much he goes through in a single night to confront those who cause harm to the innocent. The Batman Arkham Series defines why i love the character so much and inspires my career as an aspiring comic book artist/writer

this is the coolest start screen ever. one of the best games ever. I remember getting this on Christmas and immediately running down to my freezing cold basement and not seeing the light of day until I made sure the joker paid for all that he had done. great upload man!

My dad had actually bought the game on release date and when I came home from school he had it laying on the counter and said “go look over there” I went over there and found this game and dad said “it's yours” I was so happy and played the game that night and just remember playing it hours on end because it was so good. This is one of my favourite videogames of all time and I will never forget it.

I can't even begin to describe how intense this music was for me the first time I had heard it. The only other I have found so far that sparks the same level of hype to play is the Dovahkiin intro song for Skyrim

The interlude past of the there captures tragedy and even romanticism. Then the hard hitting 3rd part comes. All interspersed with those beautiful transitioning visuals. Then the 4th and final part.. where the heroism rises to the level of transcendence. > still with tragedy thrown in. Perfect.
This theme captures the feeling of being a selfless hero in a dire situation, trying so desperately to win an impossible battle, never stopping at any cost, finding another way to win no matter what, to protect the people who need it, during the chaos and destruction of the climax of the battle, yet still the battle against evil will never end. Its not just a perfect theme, it is THE perfect theme to fit batman.
I know this video is getting more views now because of “the other game” that no one likes but it goes to show games like this age like wine over the years and soon decades

Everytime I play this theme I have this vision of an epic supercut that showcases every character, with the villains all looking hella menacing and stuff, once the trilogy was announced for the Nintendo Switch we actually got such a supercut in the trailer and it gave me so many chills, I LOVE these games.

Why did they not put this theme in Arkham Knight especiallly when the GCPD building gets attacked where you have to go through a bunch of Arkham Knight's milita and battling the tanks with the batmobile.

Completed this game the other day. After finishing it, I just left, got to the main menu and cried my eyes out. I loved this game. What a masterpiece.
