    Boxing has the hardest sparring out of all the combat sports it seems.

    A common problem is one dude using a full protection head gear and the other an open head gear. That is why the bigger guy keeps coming forward. He is not particularly concerned about getting punched in the face with straight punches.

    • @jacquezpolk6113
      @jacquezpolk6113 10 месяцев назад +6

      The bar protects you from cuts and bruises on your nose. The punches still hurt. So that has nothing to do with it lol

    • @michaelbrien9579
      @michaelbrien9579 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@jacquezpolk6113 I was boxing on Friday night with the exact same situation. The bar across the face allows one to receive the jab and still move forward. I had the winning open face headgear and my opponent had the Cleto head gear with the bar. It is a problem in most gyms when head gears are different. I have been boxing for 25 years and when one has the bar, one are more reckless.

    If u r gonna box then box how The hell are u gonna Try to outbox this Guy with the short shirt And u are fighting on the inside like that. He’s obviously bigger and More sound to boxing and brawling on the inside. Sparring is to work technique not get your ass beat at this level u need to be working on your craft not tryna look pretty

      Well just because someone fights at 135 it doesn’t mean they were 135 at the time they sparred. He could have been in the 140s. Maybe even 150. No idea
