And downtown or N Beach had a carnival back then. My Dad worked there. Now - no fun, no rollercoaster or even a ferris wheel when smaller cities on the beach have things to do.
Corpus is such a beautiful city. I love to visit. I’m originally from Alice Texas but now live in Mcallen Texas. But I always make time to visit Corpus. Especially because our beautiful Selena is there 😢. Great video 🫶❤️🙌
Alright you two, thanks for the info. I'm anticipating a move to Corpus within the next few months. What are the best places to look for a house?(School system is important also)
Flour bluff supposedly has the best school district, so I would start there but make sure to use google maps to make sure the neighborhood looks nice. Probably stay away from north side of flour bluff, try looking at the south side.
@@ImmarcomurilloYou're right - beware of parts of Flour Bluff - drug city! And it's HOT as Hades. Yes, to southside - it's growing towards Yorktown. Depends on how much you want to spend on a house.
1. It’s a little ways away but Butter Churn - Aransas Pass it’s an amazing buffet country style, if you look online, they have different food every day. My wife and I used to go there all the time. 2. If you like sushi you can go to this place in Corpus, try the Corpus Christi roll it’s a fried sushi. Super good. @ Yoshi Japanese Cuisine
@@Immarcomurillo Yes, Port Aransas has fresh great food in those little houses they turned into small gourmet restaurants. Grumbles is great. Restaraunts I'd consider in CC are 8TE, The Cheesecake Factory, PF Changs, Doc's, Harrison's Landing, Water Street (not my fav, but my frends love it) Great breakfasts/lunch at Sugarbakers, Andy's Kitchen & Atomic Grill.
The best video of the sea wall area. I use to run up n down the pier with my brothers back in the 50s. Thank you for sharing, it was up n close
Thank you !
