Voice still sounds great 👍. This was an awesome show. He has a lot of energy and passion for the music still and it really shows in his performance. Well worth the price of admission
Because he knows how he wrote them and doesn't quite have it the way he did at 25. I think he sounds great but you can just see in his body language that he's self-conscious trying to belt it out without a backing band and supporting vocals. He's getting old... 😢

First off love your vids from the DMB ones to Mayer. Just a heads up that you may wanna take down these John Mayer Solo tour video's in a few days. Mayer's Management has been giving copyright strikes to channels posting videos typicaly 2-3 weeks after each show and some channels over 15 years old got 3 strikes and were permanently removed from RUclips. Mine were taken down 2 weeks after the Boston show and a guy who had some Toronto videos got his entire channel wiped because of the copyright strikes. 99.9% of music rights owners aren't doing this but Mayer's Management is doing this.
Thanks for the heads up. I posted Mayer clips last year and had no problems. Did have a problem with Neon which said Clapton Crossroads had some kind of claim to it.
It’s an expression pedal, it’s likely adding a slight modulation to his vocal like some reverb, delay or sustain. I don’t think anyone knows 100% what it’s doing but it’s unlikely to be any sort of pitch correction
Yeah, agree with @Harry20000Hl, you can hear a slight reverb increase and maybe a chorus/delay or something but hard to say for sure. Doesn't have the signature autotune sound.

Does any one know what he's doing with his pedal on the floor for the ooos. A volume boost for his mic or auto tune pitch correct ?

Mostly likely some reverb, it might even be something that only effects his monitors to help him out (volume boost so he can hear it clearer?)
