It’s funny cuz I used to see this ad all the time when I was younger but I would always skip it so seeing it in its entirety is funny to me for some reason 😂
What you can learn on this course can easily be learned watching a few free RUclips channels. Find your own sound, learn the tools and make something different.
What's interesting is deadmau5 himself also believes that people should aim to make their own sounds instead of just copying other people, which makes sense seeing as his biggest songs reached their popularity by distinguishing themselves from the crowd (...ok, so Ghosts'N'Stuff was kind of riding on Rob Swire's fame but his other big songs generally gained attention just through how they sounded rather than whose names were attached to them). Yeah he makes sample packs, helped with the development of Fruity Loops, and makes masterclasses but I've never known him to state or lure people into believing that everyone should just use the exact tools he uses. I realise this might read as fanboy bias but I can detach myself enough to call him out on things that he gets wrong, I just have a hard time believing that his masterclasses are nothing more than PR for the specific software and hardware that he uses.
helllo i still would like to congraturlte the dying mouse for creating such sounds a lot for his working so thankyou whether you have vagine or willy idm
This is a cardinal sin of EDM right here.
Dive in and say, "Hey, I'm a Trance DJ"

I disagree - my programmer took the masterclass and it was the pivot point of how our music changed and music production changed for the better.
@@ingridl2975thousands of successful producers never once watched a masterclass just stuck to RUclips

Did they just turn on comments for this 7 year old class?
Find A way to stop thinking.
The beginning of the video. This melody. Is it part of any song, and if yes, which one? Or this is just a synth recorded for the video? Thanks.

Funny someone who's been busted using samples multiple times acts like using presets is a cardinal sin of EDM... and I'm not hating, just saying..
Sampling is an artform. Pushing 1 button to make beat or a song is a travesty. This why music is shite today. Tech and A.I with no talent.
@@3941602 I think presets fall into the same category of an "art form"
