Was waiting for your review on the nz Race, this could be my next helmet to add to the collection!! Not sure which one to get?!! bestia's helmet or aleix or Pirro, it's a tough one but I'm leaning towards bestia!!
If price is not an issue what do you recommend. nz or sr Fit is the difference for me im a sm in agv. Pista fits PERFECT on me. M nz fits a tad lose to me I like my helmets glued to my head. Would a s work in both?
What is the actual degree of vision on the visor though? Pista gp rr boast a 190 degree horizontal; 85 degree vertically. Is the KYT vision any better?
Hi! Which helmet would you recommend between this one(the non carbon version) or the Suomy Track 1? (For daily rides and do routes from time to time). Thanks!
Yes you can still hear the cardo over the wind noise, I use mine all the time (this while wearing earplugs too). I did a review on the NZ race and the R2R.
@@SpeedAddictsTV in Indonesia we can order the FIM version as long as you are a professional racer,,but for the tricomposite version..but this review is a full carbon version
What helmet shape is this helmet? And also, you mentioned there's a composite version and a full carbon fiber version but I don't see that. All the NZ-Race helmets are described as "Shell produced in Triaxial Composite (Carbon, Kevlar, Fiberglass). So can you clarify that?
The helmet shape is intermediate oval. We have multiple carbon versions available. They are labeled "carbon" on the product listings on our website. Check the link the description.
The Suomy SR-GP is a cut above in the aero department and engineered for Moto GP. As it's longer front to back it's a bit heavier than the NZ-Race. In terms of fit and finish they're fairly close and are produced at the same factory. If you're looking for the lighter and more affordable helmet the NZ-Race wins. If you're looking for the most stable, relatively light weight and extra slippery aero then the Suomy SR-GP is for you, but it comes at a higher cost. Both are excellent choices for spirited street, track-day or competition riding.
There are a “Warning! Remove the foam before use glasses” labels in the back of eye glasses icon, what it means? Thank you for the nice review video, btw! ❤
@@R3RAHOOL Yes, Real carbon fiber helmets IE full carbon helmets reduce weight. The main reason for having carbon fiber. The ONLY reason people buy carbon helmets. Tri-composite isn't real carbon, its Tri-composite. Even in this video he says its the exact same weight as the non tri-composite.
@@NiftyyR6 it depends on your head size bro...i have this helmet in XXL size...the information behind the helmet says 1350gr but I weighed it myself, it only weighed around 1360g
Ordered my helmet with a cardo through y’all. And I can’t wait till it gets here! My cardo arrived this weekend already. Super fast shipping!
How’d it sound over 80mph, love my pista but I can’t hear anything at highway speeds on the cardo

All these helmets run true to size. If you follow the sizing chart, you should be in good shape.
Carbon always looks nice . Beautiful helmet

Unfortunately, we do not have access to that information. You can try reaching out to KYT.

They are both very comparable. Can't go wrong with either. The NZ-Race is more popular.
Someone tell me how the wind noise is and ability to hear your cardo?
We have not personally tested the wind noise on this helmet. To help mitigate noise, we recommend a snug fit with the chin curtain installed.
Did you end up buying one? I am also curious
Yes you can still hear the cardo over the wind noise, I use mine all the time (this while wearing earplugs too). I did a review on the NZ race and the R2R.
Is this FIM homologated helmet?
yes
Nope the homologated helmet it just for professional racer.. it's special order
This helmet is not FIM homologated. It is DOT & ECE 22.06 rated.

The shape is Oval for all head shapes. The composite version is 100-150 grams heavier than the full carbon version.

Hey so I know I'm really late to the party, but I'm looking to buy one of these, how is the wind noise on the freeway?
We have not taken this helmet on a test ride to check.

If you wear eyeglasses, you need to remove the foam.
@@SpeedAddictsTV Yes, but the foam doesn't seem easy to remove and it looks like it can only be removed by damaging it
How can I get a tinted visor? It is out of stock at most places
We should hopefully be getting more in stock soon. You can sign up for stock notifications on the product page.

The tinted visor is sold separately and one size fits all.

NZ-Race.
i really wanna get me one of these but i can't find them anywhere here in europe and i do not wanna pay import taxes. do they just not sell here yet ?
Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the Euro version, since we only stock the US version.
Suomy handling kyt distribution on Europe market
It should be available at suomy website
is this narrow fit or round fit?
Intermediate oval.
Do u think this a good helmet for naked mt09
Yes, the NZ-Race would be a great choice for your ride.
How much for that helmet?
$549 USD.
KYT is kinda similar looks to Suomy Helmet
KYT and Suomy are under the same family.
Who the heck wears an XL helmet, my man got that thiccc dome piece 😂
We've had customers go even larger than that. Thanks for watching!
This is NOT real carbon fiber, its crabot fiber graphic sticker on fiberglass. Just know that before buying for a carbon helmet.
Lol
It's a tri-composite. Made of carbon fiber+fiber glass+kevlar. First know and then comment.
