M16 has been my main gun for a few months now. Getting the burst to be consistent is a matter of practice and prayer. If the game hiccups or stutters, it can throw off the burst. If you're practiced enough though and the game decides to run smooth, you can get the M16 to sound like it's full auto without any noticeable pauses between bursts and is extremely satisfying.
Honestly the M16's biggest issue in my opinion is unreasonable horizontal recoil when shooting 'full auto'. Most guns will sway left and right randomly, but keep generally centered over the course of a full mag. The M16 for whatever reason has a high chance to either pull hard left or hard right throughout the entire mag.

I think that Quake is the only game out there where jumping is required. That and maybe Donkey Kong.
I miss UT 1999, lots of jumping in the older shooters.

Jumping makes sense in Tarkov, considering the myriad of controls you have over your character in the game. There also wasn't vaulting in the game until the most recent main update. It's like asking, "Why do you have a control to lean while lying down?!"
The burst mode on a real M16 is pretty inconsistent too! 😂🤣
