Choco is right that the suppressor doesn't make the sniper significantly quieter, but it also masks the direction of the sound a bit better, so depending on the situation, the enemy can fire several more shots at you before you know where the sniper is, compared to if he didn't have the suppressor.
you have to understand that the way choco plays the need to remain hidden is not really a concern. In fact especially when he's bolting he prefers the enemy to know where he is so they hold still while they try to shoot at him.

It's ok to play passively if you really want to but you gotta know when to go on the offensive and not let the 2v1s get away.
I was saying the same thing about increased blue zone damage as well... ESPECIALLY on karakin; they should raise the damage on that map. phase 1 hits like phase 3, 2 hits like 4, 3 hits like 5, etc. zone tanking on that map really ruins the play of the small map with lots of sighlines
Can you imagine how cool this game would be with a dark night map and headlights/flashlights, a map where you could arm and armour vehicles like Mad Max or Car Wars (Twin MGs on the hood of your car), and a fantasy map with nefieval armour, wood houses in villages, and only swords/axes/bows and you travelled by horse.
If bluezone phase 3 hurt like phase 5.. then hollywood bob will always die in bluezone...lol

The suppressor does act as a flash hider....just makes it more difficult to figure out where you are shooting from.
