Suffering can be good for you
Go watch a sports movie,
They suffer through self improvement to achieve the victory,
But its about the process not chasing fleeting pleasures
Thats why theres 7 rocky films with 3 spinoffs and its not just one and done and sleep the rest of your life,
Because that can lead to apathy which leads to depravity then collapse,
So its not that you should run away from suffering but that you accept it.
Imagine that Sisyphus is happy
A palm tree in a green house that never felt the wind will fall over
Do you think you can break the matrix and still attend a church, or do you need to separate yourself physically to break the matrix
Breaking the matrix, as you call it, isn’t about the physical spaces you inhabit but the inner freedom you cultivate. You see, the matrix isn’t “out there” in the world of churches or traditions; it’s within your mind-your attachments, your identifications, your judgments. You can sit in a church and still be free of the matrix, just as you can sit alone in a cave and remain deeply ensnared by it. The matrix is the illusion of separateness-the belief that you are this body, this mind, this identity. When you awaken to your true nature, you see the matrix for what it is: a game, a play, a teaching.
So, it’s not about whether you stay or leave the church; it’s about whether you see through the illusion while you're there. You can chant hymns, listen to sermons, and engage in ritual if it speaks to your heart, but let go of clinging to the form. Let it be the finger pointing to the moon, not the moon itself. When you're free, you bring that freedom wherever you go. Whether it’s in a church, a marketplace, or a forest, the Divine is present, because you’ve realized: you are that.

It's a frustration with reductive teachings i see all over the new age space
Besides your holes in the explanations of things, claims that you've solved human suffering just smack of incredulity
Maybe it's because I've been seeking for so long and I still experience deep psychological torment every day.
I've heard advice like this and it just seems shallow to anyone who's in a real dire situation...
But yeah maybe I'm jealous and bitter. If you've figured out how to cure suffering then good for you. I'll let y'all know when i get there
