Word is this song WAS meant to be 2nd single from The Art of War (understandably so), but in an effort to replicate the success of Tha Crossroads (a trend that would continue for quite some time), Eazy-E’s widow decided the 2nd single would be the song that you’ll probably react to next from this album. When you hear it……..you’ll be shocked that it’s on here. Krayzie also said at some point that Days of Our Livez was meant for this album & it’s very likely Shoot ‘Em Up was as well
Chin checking refers to the act of challenging someone or testing their courage or toughness, usually through physical confrontation or verbally intimidating them.
"Chin Checking in the making" = I am checking you right now as we speak. You will know where you went wrong, and suffer consequences, whether verbally or physically.
Glad to see you're back, this is one of my fav krayzie's verse, soooo good. But I've been enjoying reliving my childhood through you experiencing all this for the first time, brings back soo many memories. Keep up the good work!
Bro I have a recording of Bizzy rapping this verse from the Verzuz against three 6 on my channel and I’m not gonna lie it’s probably the best one visually on RUclips
BODY ROTT. One thing you'll notice is bone doesn't flat out say who they are dissing. My guess is because if you mention who you are dissing, people are going to check out the response. Giving them album sales. So they drop hints at who they are dissing, but usually will not say their name.
Wish does approach this album a bit differently than the rest of the members on a good amount of the songs. Some love it and some not so much. I personally like the contrast
Yeah Wish was on the end of these songs for a reason. I personally still liked Wish on this album because he does present that contrast. After this album Wish falls of hard. Finding a quality verse from Wish after this album is rare. Resurrection, Change the World, and his verse on That’s That Bone are about it lol. Love Wish though, he’s like the Bono of the group
@jeflip942 I think some of his best work was on BTNHRessurection. I even dare to say that was his best group album performance. But I guess that's just my personal taste
DISCLAIMER: Go to 3:17 for start of reaction 😎👍

Look into your eyes was going at the group Do Or Die. They had recently had a physical altercation the day of the "Ghetto Cowboy" video shoot.
Chin checking is punching someone in the chin

ALMOST certain “Fuck them hillbillies” refers to Three 6 Mafia
