    Hey BER PHIL, why did the title say it's an overture by Verdi conducted by Muti but the content is 100% different from the title? Is there any technical issue?

    Sorry man, I think it means that this recording respects the real dynamics of its musical content... (however through my MacBook speakers it sounds perfectly!)
    Maybe you use to listen to other type of Music, more modern and dynamically compressed, that don't need to rise the volume...
    Otherwise, I haven't yet understand what you mean... sorry again! ;)))

  • @frankorusso
    @frankorusso 12 лет назад +3

    Of course: It's called "dynamics", or the difference between "pianissimo" (very low) and "fortissimo" (very strong). If you want to hear all at strong volume, so you destroy the meaning of dynamics and consequently you kill the living breath of Music! ;)

    Great but not as fantastic as Jaroslav Vogel's version from 1952 full of fury over the soviet coup and at an astonishing speed. Never to be surpassed.
