- Penn & Teller, Reggie Jackson, and Miles Davis, along with a Top Ten on Milkhail Gorbachev's happiest memories serve upo this part of a late Friday night/early Saturday Morning. Also includes the original commercials.
Love the commercials
dave was the best
Dave seemed way more interested in talking about baseball than about movies or the other stuff celebrities usually talk about. He was right that the remote basketball idea was a dud. That Christmas music was great! Wonder if it really ended up in Scrooged? All I know is Danny Elfman did the score. Penn and Teller's liquid nitrogen bit was better than some of the other stuff I've seen them do. The commercials were amazing. Lots of great jingles. I don't remember seeing the one with the warring perfumes back in the day, but it's fun to see a brand new to me old school commercial now.
What a powerhouse show. Reggie, Miles, P&T, plus a video bit at the West 4th courts…
love penn and teller
Excellent 😊
Reggie & M I L E S ❤
Dig that double bass…
Dave was in a great mood that night.

rappin fats piscopo is the best part at 46:36
WATCHED 3/6/23
Reggie Jackson was the richest baseball player of his time, yet he only earned $9 million for his whole career. Nowadays a mid-level player earns that every year.
Yet minor league salaries haven't really caught up that much. Even AAA players earn a salary that is just middle class, with single A being paycheck-to-paycheck.
We need more of Chris Elliot !
There was / is ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY, NOTHING funny about Chis Elliot.
Period.
OMG. Miles Davis and David Sanborn. OMG.
Penn & Teller were always a waste of time. Brought mom onstage and she walked off in disgust (31:00 alright El Paso 9, my local station!).
I used to think they were OK, until they decided to start using their fame to spread the wonderful news that libertarianism is the only correct political/ economic/moral philosophy. I want to buy the property surrounding Penn's million-dollar mansion and put in a hog lagoon. See him defend "property rights" then. NEWSFLASH: _Everybody_ wants the correct balance between individual freedom and societal control. Libertarians just seem to think that they can claim they can tie the steering wheel in one direction and let nature take its course. Can't stand blowhard Penn Jillette.
