This is the beauty of Islam it has spread to all nations and races all together to worship Allah.
The Athan should be simple, it's not a song!
May Allah guide the people in Hawai and InshaAllah there will be more dahwa to let them learn how to recite the koran correct and with a good melody. Ya Rabbi el3alamin!
there is nothing to criticize such a melodious adhan I've ever heard. It litareally gave me goosebumps.
alhamdulillah, Islam loves diversity. I really pray for those hawaian muslim brothers and sisters from the bottom of my heart. May Allah direct us in a right way for getting the paradise.
'diversity' ...they have polluted your mind with leftist liberal crap
Sister as I agree
I don't think the prophet SAW ever taught us to make adhan like these
We were taught to make adhans in a specific way for a specific reason, one of them is because Arabic is meant to be pronounced in a verbal specific way
Just like how the Jewish call to prayer etc.
We don't criticize new reverts, Inshallah may Allah increase this revert to do better inshallah.
Who told Islam loves diversity. Diversity as in 73 sects of which 72 will be in hell.
@@harunobaid4977 very good answer Harun
Some people may argue it's an imitation but I don't see it that way
So melodious, unique, and beautiful 💝... Subhan Allah..
May Allah make all of Hawaii a Muslim in-sha-allah
Assalamualaikum.
Please pray for me and my sister. We have been waiting for many years for our dua to get accepted. We are going to have an important Exam in May. I believe in the power of collective dua, so do remember us in your Duas. May Allah accept your most asked dua. Ameen!
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "There are two pleasures for the fasting person, one at the time of breaking his fast, and the other at the time when he will meet his Lord; then he will be pleased because of his fasting".
📚Sahih Al-Bukhari 1904
The most important is intention if is for good or bad intention ...I am arabe men and personaly I feel is for a good intention ... thanks you for this beautiful ahdan !
Assalamualaikum,
I grew up in Al Madina Al munawara. I'm heartbroken reading all these HARSH comments. Please brothers and sisters, it's the month of Ramadan and soften y'all hearts.
The Brother is pronouncing the Adhan words correctly and his melody is different compared to other Adhans around the world.
Instead of correcting/cutting down this brother. We (the ummah) must welcome him with open arms and greet him with respect.
Instead of always finding the difference between us (which is always easier to find).
Look for the common unity between us and that He is a Muslim and we are Muslims. He is apart of our ummah, your ummah and my ummah.
Allahu Akbar ❤
Then you would notice he is putting a madd in اكبر and making it اكبار
You would also notice that he is adding ء and ه in many occasions.
I think he as has an amazing voice but there’s rules in place for acts of 3badah. The people who let him make the adhan should teach him first then let him perform
@@MichiganTroopers123 i agree. However, for reverts it is always best to take things step by step. For example Omar bin Al Khataab was a drunk and didn't stop drinking until one to two years of after becoming a Muslim.
All reverts need to be dealt with patience and understanding.
Thank you brother so much for your understanding and reply,
May Allah subhanu wa talla grant us all paradise....Ameen
I’m not sure how true this is, but surely umar was advised to stop drinking. If he is a revert then it is even more important to point out his flaws, so they don’t become habitual and become a bidd’ah
@@MuhammadKarboji-mg1fb الله يبارك فيك
I agree the people are being harsh on the revert brother but the fault is with whoever permitted him to make the adhan.
YES
His voice is very heart touching ♥️
May Allah accept his prayers and azaan
Every culture has a different spin on the adhan. MASHAALLAH it is very beautiful to see the Kanaka Maoli being added to the many melodical varieties of the adhan. As long as the words aren't changed. I don't think there is an issue
One can argue whether this melody of calling the adhan is okay or not but we cannot argue that all words should be pronounced properly and with correct vowel length (it should be the muazzin’s number one priority); this is a problem even with those who call with a standard and universally accepted melody.
Exactly brother. One cannot stand and give adhan however they want to, they should have to follow some proper guidelines.
What if its coming from the heart? Should it matter?
@@impresn5301 please read my comment again
I'm just asking out of curiosity. Because it's a very unique sound and tone and pretty difficult to do coming from a polynesian background

Masha'Allah bro. It's soo refreshing 😌
I hope people don't feel extremely offended with this way of prayer. We polynesians are predominantly 99% christians. His voice and rhythm are similar to our original songs prior towards our exposure to Christianity which we incorporated into our Christian hymns. His heart is in the right place, but I understand it may offend many.
Allah will guide him in the proper way of calling of prayer
it's beautiful
People want us from different countries and cultures to become Arab. I won't do it.
Beautiful my brother!
MashaAllah I love seeing a mosque in Hawaii.
Bonsoir
Un grand merci et sincères félicitations à ce formidable et noble croyant et que Dieu accepte et bénit cet appel à la prière.
Masha Allah beautiful. Reminds me of an Antiguan brother who does adhan in a masjid in the UK
It is like hymns in churches, especially black church.
I think it is not allowed. Because we should be differ in every ways to those non muslim style. May Allah forgive him because maybe he doesn't know.
Then why u speak English? Why not speak Arabic? We have to differ from Non Muslims, like you say. We have to speak Arabic instead
As a black Muslim, my people used those hymns to sing their way to freedom. I'm tired of people using Islam to Arabize non-Arab people. We have our own cultures and customs and if they mix in with Islam then that's just a natural evolution of culture. Islam doesn't look the same in Pakistan as it does in Turkey, they have their own cultures and customs, let us have Islam within our culture as well.

His intention is good but please do the Azan in the way our prophet taught us like in the time of the prophet Muhammad(SAW) when Bilal (RA) did the call of prayer. Like how this brother did was if he is doing perform on stage of America got talent.
I already heard different types of adhan tone like mecca style , medina style, india style, bengali style, chinese style, Indonesia style..... But, this adhan tone from Hawaii, i consider it as American/western style azan because it's sound like a choir. 😇
Hi, your comments speak the truth, could you please write a book on the creation of this world.
Hawaii isn’t really American/Western. It was a kingdom rich in tradition and culture before it became a state in America.
It’s like calling India “British” when it was under colonial rule.
But anyway, true to everything else you said. There are multiple ways to give adhan. There was a popular video of a man doing all of the styles at a family dinner lol
Did you see it??
Wow that’s beautiful! I’d literally go to the mosque for this and of course pray since I’m there “estefir Allah” on me for say this but for real. Islam and inclusivity of culture! After all islam is peace and he meant it from his heart and to is deen. 🎉❤

Remember guys islam is not for arab, islam is for the world.
Yes truely😢😢😢 Muhammad (peace be upon him )is the messanger of Allah
Looks like he is copying western songs tone and including that in adan which is absolutely wrong.Adan should be given in a proper way by keeping all its rules in mind

Masyaallah tabarakallah semuga dikurniakan Allah swt sesuatu yang lebih baik kepada saudara ini.
how is this okay this sounds like the tone of a song that would be played in a disney movie based in hawai why are people supporting this
Those of you who are complaining, imagine all the potential new Muslims who would be attracted to this because it won’t come across as too foreign. Islam is not an Arab religion, Islam is the religion for ALL people.
Keep it simple like in the times of the prophet(SAW).
Do appreciate him, He will more greater in future.

@@faizcurious7407 he is actually Māori from New Zealand, and this was a strong way to reach out the call to prayer. He was very clear in enunciation and calling his different cultural style “opera” because you do not know what it is is quite rude. Prayer alhamdulilah is a great thing, to call people to it with seriousness but also the love of Allah is an amazing thing. You are simply being disrespectful. Perhaps it is because you only know middle eastern style Athan, which is the most common in every country. However there are less Muslims that have been their for many generations than in other parts of the world. Their culture is not something that’s just purely haram just because it’s not Arab and his adhan was great.
Islam has no boundaries, different culture different identity
Allahu akbar brutha u will definitely be blessed 😇
Very beautiful Adhan❤
he clearly say the exact words so there is nothing wrong
As long as he didn't change the words of the orginal Adhan or add to it and you can hear what he is saying clearly and understand it, I see nothing wrong.
Islam embraces different cultures and traditions as long as they are lived out within the means of what is halal.
I felt this Adhan in my heart. It was genuine and I believe his intentions are pure. Just because it's different (beautifully very different) from what we are used to it doesn't make it invalid.
I may be wrong but it sounds like he has Hawaiian roots. He is allowed to embrace his own culture and way of life and way of expression as long as it doesn't crash with Islamic values.
He has done nothing haram here... Allah is the judge and we His imperfect servants. You may hate the sound of this, but Allah may adore it, who knows?
Having read a lot about our beloved Prophet s.a.w. I am 100% sure in my heart that he would have enjoyed this call to prayer with a smile.
Have you guys heard the chinese or japanese read Adhan before? You cannot expect everyone to speak perfectly fluent arabic with an arabs arabic accent.
Luckily, Allah is Merciful and Compassionate and He judges justly by the intentions of our hearts. He created us all and He created our differences as well as similarities. Alhamdulillah. SubhanAllah.
I am honored to have heard such a unique call to prayer. ALLAHU AKBAR and Assalamun Alaykum to all my Muslim brothers and sisters across the world.
Im not a muslim. I also dont speak this language. And even though he's being criticized for this, I find this beautiful. Its definitely not my place to say, but seems like a good represention of Islam to me.
It sounds very beautiful and very heartfelt But.with Arabic just a subtle change in the innotation can change the meaning of a word. Or even render it meaningless. To give an example in English the word “heedless” if pronounced as “headless” has a totally different meaning. But somebody just started to learn English or non speaker would not know or be able to tell the difference.
@@ashaqhussain6902 Fascinating!! Thank you for that explanation. If i may ask, what exactly is this? Is it a prayer, a hymn or song, or is it something else? Is there somewhere i can find a proper recitation and translation? Thanks for your time✌️
@Sebastian Puzzle It is a call to prayer. It is said 5 times every day. After Muslims read pray. Which approximately 5 minutes long. Happy to provide any further explanation.
It is the call to prayer. To let the believers know the time for the prayer has commenced traditionally it would be recited from the minaret of a Mosque. If you search in RUclips for “Muslim call to prayer with English translation.” You will find several videos.
@@anonyms1828 Brilliant!!!! Thank you for the explanation and translation. Peace to you.

That Azan was amazing to hear
I'm very conservative, and I find it very lovely
There is 1.3 billion Muslims around the world machallah. Why not have a different tone azan for once? Alhamdulilah
2 billion*
That's one rare way to call of Adhan, may Allah judge his heart and his deeds but for me I liked his Adhan.
Allahumma barik!! Mashallah!!
It's okay to give Adhaan in a different tone As Long as you don't Add Any Extras In This Case Our brother giving Adhaan is not Pronouncing the Words Correctly Which is Not Okay... these Are praises to Allah Let's be Perfect in Our Recitation...
And Another thing is Brother Should be Covering his hair... I Don't Judge and Allah Knows Best but His Sataar isn't Covered and His Hair Is in 2 lengths Plus It is Longer Than his Shoulder length... Brother Should be Corrected Inshallah We all Want to do what's right, Allah Guide him and us All For we are insaan after all and Insaan Make mistakes ❤

Masha Allah Original Texts Rythm is yoz
melody is good to have. but not when the vowel length isn't correct. thats a big deal
Very nice.
What Masjid is that? They talking up a storm while the brother is calling the prayer
Its a mockery some mimicry in Christian church..
A clear disrespect and create firqah..
I urge and request everybody to Listen "Adan in american idol" believe me you'll gonna cry in love and joy ..
May Allah s.w.t. protect muslims from such ignorance and disrespectful action..😔
I do not criticize the brother for making the adhan different
I pray inshallah Allah increases all reverts to do better adhans inshallah
There is a reason why we pronounce adhans in a specific way because of its [ LANGUAGE ] and the way its soppuse to be spoken in a specific way
It's not like English etc, this is ARABIC. And it has specifics way to be pronounced etc.
Brother has a majestic voice 😊
wow i never heard an athan like this mashallah
Beautiful
I really wanna know who his name is
He's a new convert guys relax
The brother is saying everything correctly and he is pausing between each phase, there's no innovation here. Did he say something incorrectly? Everything doesn't have to be arabized. Respect for all cultures. We need to expand our understanding of this deen. AlhumduiAllah keep doing what you are doing. Allah is pleased when He is praised!
Nobody said it should be "arabized"
I understand it if you don't have knowledge about what's right or wrong, but don't claim that there's nothing wrong with this if you're clearly missing out on the flaws
@Ben Dover I'm open to learn. MaashAllah maybe i missed it, whats wrong?
@@justice4all997 the pronounciation has to be right and with the right "rythm"
For example, if i say: great ness instead of greatness, i said something similar but with a compeltely different meaning. Especially in this case because it's in a different language and he has trouble pronouncing certain Arabic words
@Ben Dover I would agree. Its probably not his native language. And he not perfect with his pronunciation. I will give you that. No doubt. I'm sure his niyat is good and he tried. No disrespect those who native language arabic they are so bless By Allah that all their life arabic is spoken since childhood AlhumduiAllah. As far as the rhythm issue there's no specific rhythm according to Islam. Iv heard Athans from many countries similar, however different. Arabic isn't my native language either im sure a Arabic professor language teacher can find a letter I did pronounce properly. I think i even read years ago that Bilal ( may Allah have mercy) pronounced slightly differently than the arabs and the Prophet loved his athan. Just as if a arab or Indiana person talked
in English I'm sure I will hear something that's not "100%" English sounding. im sure i can find something incorrect. So yes if his pronounceiation isn't absolutely perfect InshAllah he can work on that the rhythm I see no problem. Hey the brother learning. AlhumduiAllah Ramadan Mubarak.
@@justice4all997 you clearly didn't understand what i meant with "rythm" and the reason why i used these "." As i said before: if you use 🎶great🎶
🎶ness🎶
It's not the same as 🎶greatness🎶
Also i'm not reading your entire comment, accept the fact that you lack knowledge and that i gave examples of what's wrong with his adhaan. Whatever your interpretation of my words are, so be it. For example, i never said that if Arabic isn't your first language that your imperfect adhaan won't be accepted. That's your assumption and delusion. It's all about intention and that's not what's wrong about this video.
Don't mention me again, the facts aren't up for a debate
you can say it in any melody as long as it doesn't compromise the words! to be honest I could not understand much of the arabic words he was saying. Perhaps this was a good athan. WAllahu A'lam
As long as the words are correct and it's a call to prayer.
