What I loved about Husker Du...besides the name which I thought was super cool....was the fact that they were kinda hardcore and melodic as well...there was hardly any bands that could blend both of those types sounds together and still sound awesome...but Husker Du was the best at it...I wish I had had the chance to see them live.
Steve the gozzer from St.Louis Park, here. Huskers Fan since 1986…….used to hang out at Garage D’or Records with Bob’s Flying V on display above the bathrooms/stairs. Anybody else remember how Grant Hart and Bob Stinson used to hang out together at Garage D’or???
This is amazing. Audio sounds out of phase though. Still...amazing. I was in Detroit as a teen mid to late 80s and couldn't get in to their 18 and over show so I never saw HD live. Always regretted missing their last show there. Hope to see Bob and the boys this fall.
I had this problem too. Are you playing it through a monophonic speaker? Try listening in stereo. It seems that the left and right channels are cancelling each other when converting to mono.

Nailed it
Husker DU at Maxwell's in Hoboken was the loudest show I've ever attended. ..
Husker Du at The Velvet Underground in OKC was the loudest show I've ever attended.
@@jeffzachritz8879 Do you happen to remember any songs from that show? Thank you.
@@nikolaik1147 I really don't. They played "Broken Home, Broken Heart" because I asked Bob before the show to include some stuff from Zen Arcade.
@@jeffzachritz8879 That's awesome, a live rarity for 1986 that song.
I really want to see this whole gig released!

I love Hüsker Dü and Bob's music

For some reason my little bluetooth speaker can't play this. It sounds like its underwater. Anyone else having a problem with bluetooth?

Sounds like the channels are out of phase. Please fix! Dying to watch it
That would explain why my monophonic bluetooth speaker can't play this but my car stereo bluetooth can
@@pcavanagh62ify But the stereo has cancelled bass and a weird stereo phase that makes me feel like I have an ear infection.
Bob always misses HD times, it seems
It would be nice to see a Husker Du tour with Bob Mould, Greg Norton, and David Grohl on drums.
No.
Thats a great idea
Would not work without Grant..
The sound is terrible. It sounds like they're underwater.
