SM is known for its vocals, visuals, and dance, but never its rap until these two main rappers from NCT came along and change the game. Taeyong and Mark weren't rappers because they got assigned to it, instead they are qualified for it. That's why I'm so proud of them 💚

Taeyong got noticed and appreciated for his RAPPING skill by a non-biased non-nctzen really make me wanna cry. People need to know he IS talented & skillful and SM doesn't just give him spotlight over nothing. It's just his handsome face overshadow his talent.
I won't talk for me because I'm rap biased so mark and ty were the first I noticed.
But I'd say people remember him not only for his looks but because he's a talented center and takes responsabilities on many choruses, hence people remembering this moment (dance + visuals + attitude) rather his rap parts (kick it, simon says, regular, gimmegimme, cherry bomb etc).
At the opposite, sometimes people forget how good mark or haechan could be as dancers because they have less this opportunity to shine, but people remember their rap/vocal parts.
I wouldn't say we could blame SM on this, while we could on many other aspects (I might be wrong tho)
@@kpopstationfy yes, the things that stand out the most will remain in people's minds more, it doesnt mean those members aren't also good at other things :) i cant even REALLY blame people for remembering taeyong's face most because i mean come on we've all seen him. but of course i want people to know he's so talented too

Yah, I think NCT 127 is one of the most balanced groups which is why their discography is so versatile!
Fr, there's no edges when it comes to both raps and vocals. Even in other units, they got strong vocal and rap lines.

At the same time that he was accepted to the university as well as being accepted to be an idol, Taeil first chose to go to university but after thinking about it, he accepted the opportunity that they were giving him as an idol.
And here it goes, 6 years later carrying the best vocals in nct!!
@@Katriinka He was accepted by Hanyang University department of Applied Music when he was accepted by sm so he had to chose between two option because he thought attending university and being trainee at the same time might be harsh for him so he chose to stay at sm and drop out university just 1 week after moreover, he was allegedly the only male out of all accepted students in his major at that year

for me haechan has one of the most beautiful voices in kpop, i love his nasal voice
doyoung's voice is very versatile. It's absolutely insane how he harmonizes with Johnny for lemonade track. And then the favourite last line is absolutely heavenly. His voice has such richness to it, such charisma it's like his voice has its own demeanour. I love this man to pieces. Absolutely makes you wanna repeat the clip again 😭

Dingo's done magic. Usually it takes longer for people to discover THIS gorgeous side of NCT, because most are puzzled by their experimental title tracks... But they can do everything. And what's more important, they love it.

yuta is really a stan attractor lol and taeyong is a madman with his rap and dance, you should really get into them. the vocal line is divine, the belting guy is taeil and he’s a god, the one with higher harmonies and little adlibs is doyoung he’s an actor too and you can feel in his voice like he lost his wife and kids in a messy divorce bc there’s so much LOVE and PAIN, the beautiful nasal voice is haechan and the hybrid “bass” vocal and occasional rapper is jaehyun, they also call themselves as the four seasons, because each one has a very unique quality to their voices and personalities. they have a full vocal song as nct u called coming home.

Yessss Jaehyun (the Lemonade guy) is indeed often called as an all rounder, amongst the members and nctzens, main vocal, rapper, dancer, visual, you name it.
Vocally speaking, he often contributed as a lower register, which you can clearly hear on most of their song or as a background vocal, but his upper register is good too, supported A4 actually. Along with him (i might say above him technically), the main vocal are Taeil (the one in the middle with beige top) and Doyoung (beside Taeil with black leather jacket), which both of them appeared on King of Masked Singer (Korean TV program for basically all the vocal gods and goddesses), and i reaaally suggest you to dig and check them out!
And another mention is Haechan (the one with pink hair), idk if he is officially a main vocal (pls dont judge me haha), but he sureeely contributes a lot, like a lot, to most of nct's (as a whole group) high notes.

Well actually, Jungwoo vocal technique is better than Haechan, so I assume Haechan is still a lead vocalist along with Jungwoo, although Haechan's vocal techniques are not good, he has really beautiful & unique tone and great agility.

All NCT members are all-rounders, every single one is multi-talented it's crazyyy
First of all, love your red lips that match your shirt! NCT is from SM Entertainment, same as Taeyeon and the rest of Girls Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO, Red Velvet and Aespa. As with all other SM idols, NCT has some of the best vocalists in the entire Kpop industry. Taeil is an absolute beast of belting as well as riffs and runs. Haechan and Doyoung have great skills and unique vocal tones.
Also shout out to Mark and Taeyong as amazing rappers in a group that has a lot of rap-heavy songs. I personally think Mark is the best rapper in SM. Y'all can fight me on that lol
Them being from SM makes tons of sense. I expected a LOT from vocals and left completely speechless by their rappers. Honestly, great surprise!

Actually, Jaehyun is one of the three main vocalists in NCT 127, Haechan is the lead one, and Jaehyun has much greater techniques than Haechan, also Jungwoo's techniques are better than Haechan, btw Haechan voice is very beautiful

Taeil and Doyoung voices harmonized with low voices of Taeyong , Jaehyun, Mark and Johny is my favorite too. I am waiting for Back 2 U song reaction. It is one of my most favorite tracks.
The man with his own mic and stand in the middle doing all those high note is Moon Taeil sadly the company didn't appreciate him enough and ppl didn't know how good his voice is and I'm glad he got recognized by a professional vocal coach ♡ we Nctzens really hope people appreciate Moon Taeil more ♡ his voice is gold and also all the members have their own uniqueness. NCT is really diverse just like Taeyong said at the beginning

Really appreciated you pointing out Jaehyun (the one on the far right whom you described as having an earthy tone). Despite being a main vocal, a lot of people unfortunately underestimate his skills because of his lower tone and him having a lot of rap lines. So it was nice hearing you talk about his gorgeous, versatile voice

NCT always have hard-hitting/hype song for their title tracks and then more smooth R&B/other genres in their bsides. So when people just check out the title tracks and not really vibe with their experimental songs, they don't try to check out the bsides and misses the chance to hear really good music.

what i love the most about nct songs are their harmonies! (this applies to all units). Their songs has so many good harmonies and vocal layers, it's such a treat listening to them.

The rapper with black cardigan and white shirt, the black hair one! His name is Mark! He really is such a talented artist debuting in 3 to 4 different groups, currently running in 2 groups back and forth. He also has a solo song called " Child " . and I am sure you will love it definitely. it kinda like a mixed genre with rock vocals and rap. if you have time, you should check it out!! and thank you for reacting to NCT!! Maybe i’m going through something but seeing people newer to nct appreciating their talent makes me a *liittle* emotional😂😭😭They get so much crap for their group concept which I understand, they aren’t for everyone, but they’re undeniably good at what they do. They’re like a force, a powerful unit lmaooo i also recommend watching one of their performances!
Just stumbled upon your video. What a joy to listen to your commentaries. Your accent and voice is so easy to the ears. NCT 127 is a very well rounded group. Their title tracks might be more dance/rap-heavy but they are actually packed with beautiful vocalists which esp shines in their bsides. Love that you’ve checked them out 💚

I’m really happy that you recognized taeyong’s talent bc he’s very often overlooked as a rapper and an artist. He has some songs on SoundCloud written by him, one is called Blue, it’s like a singing rap song w stylistic autotune but you can hear his singing voice and versatility. It’s very beautiful and emotional.

Yes Jaehyun our all rounder king that can sing, rap, dance and being one of the most popular visual in K-pop. He’s the one on the far right that you mentioned having an earthy tone. Though people tend to overlook him as a main vocalist, he’s the most versatile in the group imo. If you wanna see clearly the colour flavor of NCT 127’s main vocalist, I highly recommend checking out COMING HOME - NCT U (Doyoung, Taeil, Haechan and Jaehyun)
I just have to comment how open and genuine this reaction felt. Your love of artistry and vocals is so obvious and I think that’s why I always come back to your channel. For nct I think a lot of attention is always given to their more experimental pieces, but whenever the fans are gifted a vocal heavy track it truly feels like Christmas. Their songs have always been like ear worms for me, even if I don’t like it at first, when I come back half a year later something about it clicks,,, it’s a very unique group for me and I adore them.
