I love Gin's Bankai, all of its features make it awesome. I would honestly rate it as one of the deadliest bankais(discounting the secret move it has) In combat due to the sheer range it is capable of. Gin could strike from nearly anywhere. Deadly especially given unlike others Gin actually downplayed certain aspects of it(Before over exaggerating them later) So no one really actually knows what the full capabilities of it were other than Gin.
Ichigo was just scared of Aizen, totally freaked out, and Gin didn't want him to die that's what this fight's about. Gin knew he was their only hope and noticed he was too scared to do the job, so he told him to get out of there.
In the 3 times he shows them in the whole show! lol. Here there are blue" and I love that look on is face as ichigo's power hurls towards him, but in other fights they where red. Interesting

Gin had his arm torn off, and died watching Ichigo arrive. Tousen exploded. I hate to burst hopes on that, but better off not harboring false hopes and being disappointed again and again.
he was fine in 3 episdoes because captian of squad 4 came and healed him before anyone else found him. remember as renji was waken up you see a shadow figuer walking away. and the little funn healing guy says only one person could have healed this.

Thats what happens when you introduce a character like Orihime, yes? But then... it wouldn´t be the same again anyway. Gins charm as a character was in that we never could be sure what he was thinking. He always kept us guessing...
Barragan's ability and Zanka no Tachi failed to kill too. Just cause the ability misses or is resisted it doesn't mean it isn't hack. That thing harmed Aizen way better than Soifon's poison and probably would be more efficient than Mayuri's, anyone below Aizen would be fucked by that thing.
i assumed arc only refered to the manga, scince i havent read the manga i refered to it as i would a tv show. but if arc is the correct termenology ill use it for now on.
its funny how everyone else could take stabs through the body a thousand times yet live and all it takes takes to kill gin is a cut arm and a slash to the chest
Gin could fuck up Hitsugaya so bad it wouldn't be funny. With no restraints and just him and Hitsugaya he would just spam Shinsou and when it cuts Hitsugaya he can activate his bankai and one shot him. Honestly, I want Gin to come back in the manga as there's just so much more to see of him...

@Hellsing874 Well Technically Gin could have survived. He hasn't been confirmed dead, and Tsukishima Survived Byakuya's hand through his chest, if that's not a staple for blood loss I don't know what is.
it was toshiro's shikai too...... Gin is much much stronger than toshiro but he didn't really beat him he was just toying with him as he did with ichigo twice. He left because he didn't want to fight rangiku.
Both are hax. When I say an ability is hax, I'm talking about their super destructive potential. Just like Zanka No Tachi, Barragan and Shunsui shikai that ignores defence. They can 1 hit Ko or bypass defences no matter the level of the user is. I know in wars fights don't need to be fair, but there's no way I can't ignore the power level of these abilities compare to what game hackers use like infinite head shots, ammunition, etc.
i hope orihime or someone can revive gin and tosen since tosen has seen that he was wrong and gin was good the whole time and since the soul society probably wont let them go unpunished they could stay and live with the vizards or urahara

he's my favorite character so i'd be happy if he was healed but i think he is dead. well since aizen is alive Gin's life does have purpose so it's possible just slim still you never know with kubo though.
It's not that simple. Neither of the two were really serious, while Gin could totally own Ichigo with his hax zanpakuto ability, if Ichigo did have killer intentions and wasn't restricted by the substitute shinigami's badge they would have shown a lot more in the fight.

What, Gin vs Ichigo? Kinda unfinished, but it was obvious that Gin would have easily beaten Ichigo, Gin was just toying with him. It ended without a conclusion as Aizen finished thrashing the other three first, and Ichigo kinda lost the will to fight after that bit, especially with Gin's constant digging to lower his resolve.
If their Reishi grow with the body we dont need to worry. Toushiro dont grow anymore lol . jk jk when you mean grow with their age or their experience then Genryuusai Yamamoto must have the second strongest reiatsu pressure but it is not so.
