Beautiful composition! Each piece was a different delight. Fiery Dance was vibrant and I was hooked from the start. The breathing in Lament floored me, and the piece was so dramatic and emotional. The pizzacato was just fun and made me smile with all the dramatic tapping and plucking. It's clear the care and effort you put into this because it's incredibly moving. I could go on! The quartet performed it wonderfully, so I thank you all for bringing this art to life.
This is unbelievable! So good and pleasant to watch and listen. You are a true talent and a very respectful composer for the musicians, the audience and music. Thank you.
This was awesome!!! I knew going into it that the third dance would be my favorite, since I’m a sucker for pieces that are a little silly, but all of them were stunning! The breathing and bowing in lament really got me. The emotional impact of a unison breath is so simple but deep, and I never knew you could bow on the body of your instrument! What a cool sound! The first dance is just a banger overall, it goes so hard :) Also, I totally thought the black things on the floor by the cello and viola were audio equipment at first, then metronomes, but the violins don’t have them so I am very intrigued lol
Thank you, it really makes me happy hearing your appreciation of all three dances! Those objects next to the viola and cello are their bluetooth foot pedals, a great way to turn an iPad page without reaching out to swipe!
Follow up now that I've finished watching: Sometimes I like to choreograph dances in my head (I used to dance before I got injured), and each one of the movements inspired me so much! I love this. 💕
Thank you for your praise! I also have to hand it to the performers, they did such a fantastic job - definitely wouldn't have been possible without them!
