I was in that exact spot a month ago before I discovered this guy. Man, I am beating myself up about not witnessing the magic and talent Justin has live. San Francisco is amazing and so is he. I can only hope one day I will return to be witness to the beauty of the saxophone(:
I prefer these live versions much more than the studio-dubbed-onto-street-performance ones. Sure it's of lesser auditory quality, but It has more soul this way in my opinion; you can feel the connection he has with the audience and the atmosphere he's creating around him. This is by far my most favorite video of Justin, I must admit. This guy has so much talent that it spills out in all directions when he's playing!
+Gydeon Rozen I felt the same feeling when I listened to Justin, indeed he connected with the audience and I'm glad that I was able to transmit that through the video.
I´ve seen Justin 3 years ago on a cold SF night in December playing this song while next to him steam was coming out of the drains in the street! Awesome! Will never forget that moment.
I feel so sorry to have found Justin´s talent only few weeks ago. This was the first video I watched of him and I saw myself absolutely impressed with so great talent, ´cause he is so young. I felt so admired because the talent came followed of a simplicity and humility that makes his talent be still larger. He is simply a lovely boy! Fantastic! It´s just I can say about him! I´m just sad because I live miles away. Would be so nice if I could watch him playing that sax through the streets. But anyways, I´ll be enjoying his refreshing performances through the videos, even so far, just hear him is very, very nice!
I loved how you brought the crowd in closer, it was a very kind and warm gesture and right away I could tell people were comfortable being around you. Beautiful playing and I will definitely be checking out your links for more posts. I like the posts where you sing outdoors as opposed to being at home, again I like the warmth of the moment. The guy doing the work on the video though brings through a lot of nice perspective, and he even steps aside slowly to unblock the video from pedestrians stopping to watch Justin. Very good :) Cheery.
I can feel the chills cover my whole body, some of the notes he plays are absolutely PERFECT. My eyes water up from this, also look up Acoustic covers/tributes of Counting Stars. It is an all around good song, regardless of the medium it is played/reproduced through.
Thanks Shane! but maybe I dont understand your reply or either you misunderstood my question :) I was asking what device is he using. the ampli I mean? watts, if its portable or need power or need to be wired. thx for replying, I guess my question was to vague
music4life ha,ha, I just realized that I have a very similar cube. I have this one which seems to be the same www.roland.com/products/en/CUBE-15X/ (mine needs power outlet).
Sounds awesome.. but does the kid at the begining of this video take money from the case?! It really really looks like he does.. older video could be wrong but looks shady.
+Jawdii a lot of players and artists will put their business card, cd/dvd, etc. in their case and the person can come by to get it. I couldnt tell what the kid grabbed but, i hope it wasn't money from this wonderful saxophonist!
Absolutely mindblowing... I get chills every time I listen to this song.
Shane Dinn Your face is so freaking beautifully mindblowing too
Seda, wow! lol I'm flattered, thank you (:

No idea, sorry!
Pretty sure it's a Cube, made by Roland :) Not sure what model though, some work on battery power, some need a power outlet. Hope that helps
music4life ha,ha, I just realized that I have a very similar cube. I have this one which seems to be the same www.roland.com/products/en/CUBE-15X/ (mine needs power outlet).
Minunat, la fel ca "lovely laura"! Fără prea multe cuvinte...nu-şi au rostul. Tot ceea ce trebuie "să faci", e doar să asculţi.
And I've found a role model
what are the specs to your build the sound that you get is so smooth
Alguém sabe o Setup desse vídeo?

Where does he get his music????
Are you wearing sanuk's?
