- How does our Music Director Paavo Järvi get around in Zurich? In the tram, of course. In the new video series «Tram for Two» he takes guests of the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich on a ride through the city.
In the first episode Paavo Järvi takes flutist and Focus Artist Emmanuel Pahud on his first drive. How often do they train to keep in shape for the stage? What music does Paavo Järvi listen to when he relaxes? All this and more in the first episode of «Tram for Two».

Danke sehr. Ich musste den Ton abstellen und nur die Untertiteln lesen. Die Musik ist so blöd und laut dass die Stimmen nicht zu verstehen sind.

Genau, diese "Musik" ist so störend, ich muss mich aufs Englisch konzentrieren und da sind diese schrecklichen Geräusche im Hintergrund. Was soll das eigentlich bewirken?
Get rid of that incessant background music... it is not necessary and does nothing to add to an interesting conversation.

Paavo Järvi soll bitte deutsch lernen! Es ist ausgesprochen unhöflich in der deutschen Schweiz zu arbeiten und dann zu meinen, alle müssten jetzt englisch sprechen. Das gilt für Kellner wie für Dirigenten. Bis es soweit ist, besuche ich keines seiner Konzerte mehr.
Wie eng gedacht, wir sind ein mehrsprachiges Land und international hoffentlich auch!
