Hi, thanks for your video, great help.
I have a question, Currently I am working on documents such as bill of lading and packing lists, and I have a lot of variations based on the carrier of the shipment and from where it's shipped, and right now, I am trying to identify all the possible variation that these documents can have, then develop alternative layouts inside my Flexilayout to match all the documents.
So, my question is, is there another way to have a generic layout that can be matched with any document variation other than what I am currently doing? and is there an ABBYY product like the invoices but for other documents?

Hello, thank you for watching our video. I apologize for the delayed response. In addition to ABBYY FlexiCapture for Invoices, ABBYY also has out-of-the-box models for documents which have both header and repeating details (such as PO and expense receipts). Without seeing your documents and loading a sample into one of these models, it's hard to say if they any of them would work well for you. Aside from that, creating layouts is really the only other option. Another option you do have with this route/ABBYY though is to use Field Extraction training and variants. This method is basically the same as you creating your own layouts with alternatives, however instead of you manually creating these, you would load documents into different batches for each variant, show/lasso the data you would expect ABBYY to find for each field, and then "Train" the batch. Using this method, ABBYY creates it's own FlexiLayout for each variant. We do have two different videos that go over this process. You can find them here:
      Part 1 : ruclips.net/video/FAX3OXpUH1o/видео.html
      Part 2 : ruclips.net/video/LpQD5ee7eMw/видео.html
Just a side note, this method does take a few samples to learn from (the more samples you have for each variant the better). Using this method could potentially speed up your process as it doesn't take someone with FlexiLayout knowledge to create the batches and lasso the data. It also has the ability to continually learn and improve the layouts based on changes made during the verification process. If this is something you're interested in and would like assistance/consultation with, we do offer services and would be more than happy to help. Just let us know via our website: www.ufcinc.com/contacts/
      Hope this information helps.

Hello thank you for watching our video and for the topic suggestions. Because each person's project is so unique, and there are so many different ways to accomplish tasks in ABBYY, we typically avoid creating end to end videos. Instead, we typically break the videos up in smaller segments so they're easier to watch and so it can hopefully be a little more applicable to whomever is watching the video. We'll look through your request though and see if we can create new videos from it. We do have a video on creating custom fields on an invoices project. You can find that here: ruclips.net/video/u6yom6sNaZI/видео.html . If you do need help with your project from end to end though, there are training course available or we do offer consulting services to assist you with your project directly. If that's something you're interested in, please contact us on our website, www.ufcinc.com/contacts/ , and we'll be happy to discuss this option with you.

Hello! I'm interested. Let me see if I understood the functionality of the software, I know briefly ABBYY Flexicapture, as you surely know in an Invoice process a flexilayout would be required for each vendor, instead, ABBYY Invoices let us create a document definition with just one image and it will extract all the fields or the fields we activate, and all this without layouts develop?

Hello. Thank you for watching our video and I apologize for the delay. Yes, ABBYY FlexiCapture for Invoices is unique because ABBYY spent thousands of hours creating a generic FlexiLayout that should automatically find most of what you would like it to find. You also have the ability to add keywords to the document definition if there's a keyword ABBYY isn't currently finding. In addition to manually adding keywords, ABBYY will also learn from any changes made for specific vendors by creating field extraction training batches unique to that vendor. Hopefully this helps with your understanding of Invoices a bit more. You can find more information about ABBYY FlexiCapture for Invoices on our website, www.ufcinc.com/ufc-product-overview/abbyy-products/learn-about-abbyy-flexicapture-for-invoices/ . If you have any additional questions while on our website, please feel free to reach out to us there in either the chat window or through our contact buttons.
