I must have listened to this Sermon ( Sunday 4th February 2024)seven times already. I can remember what His Eminence will say…I am so grateful.
I assume you were listening from the Livestream, and not this video? God bless you!
@@OrthodoxTradition yes. 7+1
Thank you for your beautiful heart that makes you do all this🌹I did not know that there was a standing Church who let the priest say these truths anymore. You are real disciples on earth. I feel you are the earthly saints who stand before God's throne and worship day and night, just like those in heaven. The world needs youre prayers.Endtime saints🌹
Pray for us. We are all unworthy sinners.
I will🌸💜
Thank you dear Father Archbishop. Bless
God bless you.
🕊
God bless you.
If it is Metropolitan who replies. Could you please talk on the situation in Palestine. You are obviously a learned and intelligent man. I am a Muslim, but could you please shed some light on the horror happening in Palestine, remember them in your prayers, and illuminate your opinion on the matter, i.e. the killings, and atrocities being committed in Palestine by the Zionist machine. Thank you
We will pass on the message. Thank you.
Your channel is such a gift to me! Thank u
Glory to God.
Isn't the Jesus Prayer a means to noetic prayer - that which transcends saying the prayer and actually being conscious in God, as St. Isaac says?
Yes. That is 'spiritual prayer." But that is very difficult to achieve.
@@OrthodoxTradition Why is it difficult? It seems like the foundation of the spiritual life and necessary for real healing.
Read the lives of the Hesychasts, and your answers are there.
You should not take what I’m saying here as the truth, because I’m not someone who is worth listening to. But I can’t help myself from commenting. Forgive me for jumping in..
It’s difficult because of all those voices (thoughts) that tries to stop us from calling out His name. Only when Christ tells them to be silent and He addresses us, then the words can stop and He grants us the noetic Vision.
Many of the parables and the stories are foods that we must chew and digest as means to noetic prayer. They teach us how to pray, how to purify the heart, how to be humble, how to be wakeful and so on. They need to work on another level than the discursive and analytical mind.
Another example that might be more clear is the entering into our inner temple and chasing out the merchants. We did not get this temple to bargain with God but to worship Him. In this story Christ even clarifies that he is speaking about his own body.
I’m not saying that Christ did not do these things or that they do not have other symbolic and historical meanings as well.
If I’m wrong or misleading or out of line, please feel free to delete the comment, @OrthodoxTradition I won’t mind ❤️

fancy title sitting on a throne in a uniform, real biblical.
Of course it's biblical. We are talking about The Orthodox Church which gave the Gospel to the world.
@@OrthodoxTradition nonsense,
@@donhaddix3770 Which came first, the Church or the Bible? Who determined which books became a part the Bible? Under what authority did Martin Luther act to remove canonized scripture?
?@@Meoooweww ignore the lie?
@@icxc777 the books of the bible existed centuries before the catholic or orthodox churches.
the catholic and orthodox cannons do not agree.
