Can I ask why in Cdramas people never take their coats off, even when they’re INSIDE, such as Feng Teng in this clip?! Many times people even sit down to dinner with their coats on (as in the excellent drama “Go Go Squid”). I understand modesty, but I think this is going a bit far. Could anyone comment on this? Thanks!
Their heating system in the buildings must be really poor quality. I know that in Korea they use an "andol system" to heat.. pipes in the floor generate heat which is another reason for wearing slippers all the time.. your walking on a hot floor. But as you get higher from the floor the air is cooler.. Which might account for the wearing of coats inside.

I don't understand the constant need for the FL in chinese dramas to act like 5 year olds on steroids... how can that be cute? totally baffled ... one or two, or annoying or just worrying to see males obsession with very young looking girls.
Gotta say I do agree with you. Though in this clip she thinks she’s alone and doesn’t have to worry about being watched (at least she THINKS she’s alone) so she can be a bit silly. But I didn’t understand until much later in the series what it was that attracted Feng Teng to Xue Shan Shan in the first place. Apparently, he liked her carefree way of looking at life - tho he didn’t think of actually dating her before she became, in his words, “less silly”. In my view, I know we have a different culture but I much prefer the women in Chinese dramas who are a bit more mature but with some humor & humility, like in the drama “Sunshine of My Life” with Zhang Han and Xu Lu (WELL WORTH watching)!
