    Hi, thank you for the explanation. Just wanted to say that in some cases (like myself), "jupyter notebook" command to run the jupyter file won't work as it won't be recognized by the terminal. If you're having this issue, the command "python -m notebook" should work :)

    Thanks man! You saved me a ton of trouble I encountered when I installed Python from Microsoft store. I now realized it's better to get it directly from the python's download page, check the 2 boxes and just go with the flow.

    Since Jupyter notebook was having issues in my another laptop it was constantly asking for token and password tried several times still wasn’t able to configure it as m very new to use it was panic but than following this video tried to install in another laptop … was very helpful clear and short

    2:11 - I don't see python in the drop-down when I run jupyter. All I see is Notebook, terminal, console, new file, new folder. What shall I do!?

    At the end, how can I get the created and renamed file to open with a program?
    It keeps asking me which program to choose from my program list.
    When choosing Firefox, it opens a page containing the info but not as a jupyter notebook format.

    was having an issue where it kept saying invalid syntax when i tried to install with pip, but the issue was you're supposed to close cmd so it stops having python running and then do the command when you open it again. always the little things that trip you up
