it wont get the benefit of buzzaxe rampage's damage buff, but the no self-hit and potential firerate makes it more interesting than doing vanilla melee
@@WholyMilk true but I'm seeing people say it's op when the numbers would still be higher with his buzz axe Rampage so the dev for arcania did a pretty good job balancing it unlike the face puncher in bl3, simply because it's unable to get the crazy boost from buzz axe Rampage. (also Buzz axe Rampage still gets roid damage does it not? the reason it's not worth using roid is because buzz axe rampage only multiples the base melee damage so roid damage isn't boosted and the added roid isn't really worth it because the increase is small.)
@@KrazeemSB2 that is a fair point about the roid, i guess the main damage from the build is really the relic talking, since it looks at damage the same way immolate does, the pistol is just different from the normal gameplay loop and thats why im preferring it as my delivery system
@@WholyMilk also since the boomfist damage is getting converted to nade damage it's gonna be crazy on Krieg, but with it also being nerfed you will actually have to build into fuel the blood to make it really good

wouldn't Krieg's action skill do way more damage than the melee gun since the 5x base melee damage boost you aren't getting with the gun?
@@KrazeemSB2 the gun is dealing melee damage buffed by melee damage buffs and roid shields, and gets the bonus of not triggering self-hits from StV
