Hey Jake, you've helped me a lot with knee pain but recently I've been experiencing triceps tendonitis in my right arm. Would you recommend I start with isometrics and then move into isotonic movements if you have any sort of experience with tricep tendonitis?
@@jake_tuura thanks! I’m following your JKP program. I was also wondering if the caloric deficit would affect my ability to progress through stage 2 (lifting)? Thanks heaps for the work you’ve put into this field!
@@jessescent6422 you would probably need a medical professional to confirm Plica. For PFP and tendinopathy, it’s not that complex. Address your functional limitations through strength and a slow return to play progression, cater things to how you’re responding with next day pain.
Hey brother, love your information. Initially I thought I had jumpers knee (would get anterior knee pain after jumping) Now recently, it’s subsided to pain/aching When I’m sitting and studying (bent knee, not very long time). I have no problems running, though. Any comments? Could it be more of pfp?
Depends on location. Inferior pole, you’d think PT. Around or behind kneecap, you’d think PFP. Use this resource to figure it out: jaketuura.gumroad.com/l/brgsq?layout=profile
thanks for uploading this warmup, been doing this the last 2 days for CNS activation and my workouts have been crazy efficient
PAP- Porcupine Activation Potentiation
How many sets and reps of this to stimulate degenerative collagen fibers? Can I do this in stage 1 of JKP?
Worsens tendon health, only allowed in stage 4
What do I do if I don't have a shack full of porcupine excrement?
Find one. No excuses
Oh boy I can see the dust clouds going up should have worn a mask for sure

Hi, I was wondering if I can still rehab my patella tendinopathy whilst in a calorie deficit with 40/30/30 P/C/F Macros? thanks :)
Yes, it would probably be better for tendon rehab to have a bit lower blood sugar, which you would get from being in a deficit.

@@ResponsibleBoooms it might… but it’s not excessive volumes like most hypertrophy programs so you should be fine progressing with a deficit
Hey brother! I did isometrics yesterday, kneels felt better. Now the next day (today) they’re aching. Should I dial it back?
Yes
what is the purpose of db side bends in jkp?
Ribcage movement. Gets locked down when there is pain.
Do you know why my knee gets pain when getting deeper into a squat ?

@@jake_tuura I've read this but It seems to be a mix of things
@@jessescent6422 what do you think it is?
@@jake_tuura seems to be a mix of patellar femoral pain, pilca and tendonopathy
