Y’all sorry we ate it incorrectly 🤦🏻♀️
S
Oh, it's okay. It was your first time. Try Sev Puri next time you visit (if they have it).
Try noodles payasam
It’s “fuchka” from Bangladeshi street food not pani puri
5mins yes
the amount of water lisa was adding is almost criminal in India 😂😂
yes🤣🤣🤣
Ikr!!!! I'll be like gimme gimme more gimme more 😂😂
It should be over flowing... Like that's the satisfactory level below that is just illegal offence or whatever you wanna call it💀😭
Imagine if she thought that this much water was too much XDD.
@@dhriti9859 💀😂
she handles the puri like stone and the spoon as hammer .i cant stop laughing
Sorry 🙈
@@LisaNguyen It's okay 👍 we know that it's your first time eating pani puri. As an Indian, I haven't even tried it. So I appreciate your efforts!😃
@@jJo663 r u for real haven't tried it ?
@@jJo663 bro you're missing out, it's really good once you find the right street vendor, and it doesn't even cost that much
@@LisaNguyen eyyyy it's all good lol the important thing is that you tried it. I hope you liked it Lisa!! You should try some more Chaat dishes(pani puri is a type of chaat). It'll probably suit your spicy taste!
Till the date, I haven't seen someone eating golgappe this much respectfully 😂😂
😂😂
Lmao😂
We all do that hehe 😂 that golgappa in our hand is the most precious thing we ever possess at the moment, so as not to break it nor to lose our on the pani & to gulp it all by ourselves 😂😍
Bro🤣🤣🤣
Bhaiyya aur tikha dena
Whenever any foreigner try Indian cuisine and get overwhelmed by its taste. I felt like a proud mom, who's satisfied after watching their children enjoying the meal and finished everything (dish) on table.
I never heard anyone said that they didn't like indian food..... I am proud
Anyways lots of love from India🇮🇳
As a Indian I don't like some Indian food
@@R_.709 yah ofc it is normal people have their own taste I don't like some food either
@@alyssa5498 then why tf say wy said? 🌚😂
@@R_.709 same
@@nikhaslayer_z0r070 lmao you got a point
This version is a bit different from the normal Indian street vendor style of panipuri but I’m so glad you tried this dish. The tamarind chutney is a game changer.
Edit: This is apparently how pani puri is made in Bangladesh. I didn’t know. I thought she was going to have the Indian way with the actual pani(spicy mint and tamarind flavored water) in it.
Ikr 😩
Actually in Bangladesh we eat it like that
@@anandoesstuff161 Ahhhh so its "Deshi cuisine" not desi
I ALWAYS get extra tamarind.🤤 Going to start making it myself, it's THAT good.
It’s a mix of fuchka and pain puri
I love how both of them had that sudden moment where their eyes just LIT UP at the deliciousness.
As an Indian I’m flattered that you tired our food! And it’s alright if you don’t eat it perfectly it’s the thought that counts ❤️😁
The panipuri is a bit different here but we're glad that you chose to try our cuisine! :)
The perfect one-biter 🤤
Ikr so many flavors in one bite, you can’t just have one 😂
So when are you making pani puri kulfi?
What do you call it in Pakistan ? 🙃.
In Bangladesh 🇧🇩 we call it 'fuchka'
Yessssss! got to love em
@@stevebetternotdie9943 lol
Day 4 of asking Lisa to try tteokbokki for her challenge! Its spicy and flavorful and there's all different ways to make it, you can get ingredients easily at your local asian grocery !
I second this
Here here
Yes, definitely!! I had tteokbokki for the first time a few months ago and it was amazing. Lisa, if you're reading this, you could also try grabbing some from a Korean restaurant and maybe that way you could test different flavors/varieties more easily?? It's delicious!
Yeah!!! Korean dish 💜
She has made tteokbokki way long ago tho... She even added rice cakes to her maggi noodles once.... And even in hotpot..
For day 8, I recommend making pavlova! I know this is more of a dessert than a meal, but you have to try it! I’m an Aussie (as my name says lol) and pavlova is not too hard to make and is delicious! It has a sweet meringue-type base, marshmallow filling and more meringue on top. You can also top it off with whipped cream and berries which is what we do and it’s ready to eat!
i like it with kiwi fruit or even normal cream it goes good after a big feed
Interesting an Australian would recommend a NZ dish! Just kiddddinnggg I don’t wanna start that in this comment section lol. I second pavlova!
Omg yes pavlova for life 💜
May be put a spin ,by incorporating spicy Chocolate Pavlova....
As an Indian, the only reason I know about the pavlova is because of binging on Masterchef Australia 😂😅
I love that she's so humble, cool and respectful all the time!
Queen behaviour 👑😎
1:00 nothing better than watching a person eating panipuri for the first time 🥰😘
When was the first time you ate panipuri
@@R_.709 uhh.. dont remember🥴
I just love it when you try Indian dishes ❤❤❤

@@hehehehaw3279 yup😉
I’ve never seen that before, it looks so good!! You could try Egyptian food? Something like Koshari or Feteer Meshaltet? ^^
It’s a really popular Indian street food and she unfortunately didn’t eat it the right way here but if you do especially from a street vendor in India (the actual Indian and authentic way lol) it’s actually delicious
You never seen pani puri? Damn das sad
@@opaixq2132 okay, but do you know any Egyptian food?
@@shreyas7803 I don’t know name but I have seen, I was saying it was sad bcz u said u never SEEN like even seen pani puri.

OML!! You tried the love of all us indian girls' lives ಥ‿ಥ I'm so glad!!! It is definitely one of the most refreshing fast foods ever!
But though, I'm surprised at the lack of tamarind water. We indians like to add so much of it XD
Edit: note what sakshi said in the replies.
Yeah ur right
We don't use tamarind sauce we use jaljeera sort of water not chutney and they can't use tamarind sauce the same amount as we use cause tamarind sauce is way more sour than our local water .

Seems a bit closer to Bangladesh's fuchka! Either way, really glad to see you enjoying the south Asian flavors. And as long as you had fun, it doesn't matter how you ate it 😀
Some of my friends actually call it fuchka and I am from India I have heared people calling it pani puri, fuchka and golgappa
Well we Bengalis call it fuchka in bengali language rather than pani puri
The face you made when you were tasting it, where your eyes just lit up, was SO CUTE
Yes, it is yogurt based! This suace is eaten with kebabs aswell it's called "raita"
I am so glad you are trying so many more Indian dishes!!! As an Indian subscriber of yours, it makes me so happy seeing you enjoy and relish the food💜💜
This made me so happy! There's a beautiful feeling when people try your country's food and like it 😊❤❤❤
Thank you Lisa for trying out Indian food!!
Although I think this Indian restaurant is not that authentic (looks like that) but still you atleast got the feel, and we loved it!! ❤️
When she cracked the puri with the spoon my soul left my body 😂😂
Y tho
It looks like Fuchka(a slightly different version of Pani Puri that we eat in Bangladesh) rather than Pani Puri tbh. I love it when people enjoy dishes from the Indian Subcontinent 🖤
same, in Pakistan, they are called Gol Gappay!
@@hibaomair3160 I've had Gol Gappay before and yuh its basically the same thing: the slight difference I noticed is that the fried dough (puri/fuchka shell) is different. Gol Gappays are slightly puffy and has a chewy texture whereas Fuchka, as you can see in this video, is more crispy and flakey.
@@SalehMushfiqArosh I think all the variations of the same dish taste great though! The Indian Subcontinent sure gave these few countries great cuisine!
Yes even in West Bengal we call it Fuchka love it went both these places share cultures and food :)
@@diyaadhikary3231 Yuh definitely, even if you're Indian and I'm Bangladeshi, at the end of the day, we're both Bengali 🖤
I visited Kolkata once and was blown away because it felt like home fr
Hi Lisa! I have a recommendation for you! You should try making homemade donuts, but spicy! Or make like “normal donuts” with a spicy filling of topping. Love your videos!
Nice one
Yum!!! That sounds like it would be amazing! Great idea!
You should Google a 'Indian Medu Vada'.. It's like a spicy donut made put of rice flour :)
Each and every part of India have different cuisines. It is actually like whole new different worlds. I think you should try kerala foods which are just mouth watering.
These are some of my fav:
1.Porota and beef(it is an emotion for malayalies)(malayalam is a language and those who speak malayalam are known as malayalies)
2.kerala sadhya(this is actually a lunch time meal. It is made for special occasions like wedding, onam(a festival )etc. It is just awesome. It is served in a leaf of plantains )
3.Fish fry(no words. Eat it and find out yourself)
And many more.....
This is just an introduction.....
Plz try these things.. I am sure you will love it. Keep going❤❤❤
(Sorry for my broken English)
I'm from Madhya Pradesh, India and even I haven't tried these dishes, but I would so love to!
@@AnshitaNupur yeah you should . And if you need more suggestions i am here, 😉(again sorry if my english is terrible😪)
@@rakhirshenoy3129 you honestly used English perfectly in this sentence, don't feel so conscious :)

Not my desi indian self shouting in front of the screen " haat se toro".
I can't I will pass out laughing
I'm a simple Indian. I see pani puri, I click.
True 😄
You should try Poparka, it is basically a torn up bread in milk and grated cheese with butter...
Yeah it's Pani Puri, one of my all time fav Indian food😋😋💖
As an Indian, and street food lover, let me be honest. The pani puru was not complete, the filling and the sauce was just one of the three main ingredients, being the filling, the sweet sauce(the one used here)and another very watery, spicy, and green coloured sauce called pani. And also pani puri is always topped with some raw nicely chopped onions and tomato, it also uses some sev, and to finish it off they use some chopped coriander.
Hey lisa for next day please try sahi tukda it is a traditional indian desert it takes while to make but today I have an easy shortcut
1. Take 2 cups of milk and lot it reduce till half
2. Add 1full cup of sugar in the reduced milk . Let it dissolve
3. Toast two slices of bread until crunchy. Cut them into bite size pieces
4. Dip the bread in the sweet milk for 5 or 6 seconds.
5.keep it on a plate an refrigerate for a while.
6. Chop some nuts and enjoy
Here in Bangladesh we call it "Fuchka' and it's a favourite among most people.
The flavours are just too good
I read fuchka as something else lol
Same in some parts of INDIA it's called fuchka
Oooh in Pakistan it gol gappy

It's also known as Phoochka and the recipe varies from region to region in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
I love how not only does this channel always puts 100% effort into their videos, but when I’m done watching them I feel better than I did before!
Not sure if Lisa likes Italian food but she should definitely try “Carbonara” or cacio e pepe. Some desserts i recommend too are tiramisu and panna cotta. She can even make these at home also, since they’re super easy to make ☺️
if you want a spicy version then add green chilli water, shev and chopped onions in the puri. it tastes ✨✨
Hi Lisa can you make Sinigang its a Filipino soup/stew and its savory and sour. You can ask for Jeanelle’s help if she’s made it before. Love ur vids ❤️
I think she did and made a short about it 😁
Hii lisa! I can help you pronounce pani puri properly so its call paaanee puriii or you can also call it golgappa. The chickpea filling is called the masala of the puri and liquid is the basically the water. In hindi pani stands for water and puri stands for a wheat dough tiny tortilla.i am sooo glad you tried it. I'm so happy for you. Your almost at 3 million subscribers. Congratulations.thank you so much for reading. have a nice day!❤
I'm just addicted with her voice and trying indian food series
Love ya' Lisa
Day 8 Recommendation - Medu Vada Sambhar, Dosa Sambhar , Chutney. A complete South Indian Veg food experience 👍❤️
Hey, Lisa! Appreciate the effort that you put into your content, and i would like to invite you to India to try out ACTUAL Pani Puri! This doesnt even come close sadly, its a different take on the very famous dish. Pani Puri IMO is one of the most important street foods of the country and every single person thinks that they know the perfect spot to try it out. Kinda similar to how people believe in Tacos and Taco trucks!
So if you do ever visit south east asia come down to India. You'll love the food here
Have u tried panner butter Masala with garlic Naan, if not u should definitely try it ,it's just amazing
Btw love your video ❤
bruh that was my fav meal when my indonesian mom invited me to a india food and the first thing i order was that
also panner butter masalah well you see i ordered garlic naan and chicken butter my mom ordered panner butter masala
so yeah
No she shouldn’t try it
You should try it more often.. I feel proud when you try Indian Dishes and love it... A heart full of love from India 😘😘
So glad you posted this. I'll try this next
For one day you should eat your favourite meal as a child or a childhood comfort food. I’d love to see more of what you ate growing up.
Hey, thanks for trying Pani Puri as it is an India and I'm Indian. Please try Shahee Paneer with Naan 😉 Love from India 🇮🇳
Pani puri's truest essence can be achieved when it's filled upto the brim with the spicy or sweet and sour chutney. A whole bite and all the flavors pop in your mouth, it's a great experience with all overwhelming flavors.
Hi Lisa , pls try some more indian food like fritters chaat and lassi ..
Love from india ❤️😀😀
This Pani Puri is a little bit Gourmet
TRADITIONALLY, the potato and Chana Masala is dry and not that wet. The Pani ( water ) is more liquidy and firey hot. Also traditionally green in colour. The Sweeter Pani ( Water ) is the tamarind one which you tried. The Puri (balls) looked gourmet. The traditional ones are thinner and flakier. Also you dont break the Pani puri with spoon. You hold it in your left hand and break it with your thumb and add the dry potato masala with your right hand. Then you dip the entire thing into the water and immediately put it in your mouth. It bursts with flavour and it well worth all the mess.
Keep this in mind next time and enjoy.
Mostly panipuri have spicy mashed potatoes and spicy water and thats super good!
ᅠ
ᅠ
Lisa is now addicted to Indian food , proved✔️✔️
for day 8 you should try Kue lapis
its a indonesian dessert and its sooo good one of my favourites for sure
I can't stop watching you!
I am so happy that you tried Indian food. **However, the street food version of Pani puri (phoochka) is the best, haha!** (Maybe when you visit India try it---- pani puri, golgappe, phoochka... Same thing, different names)
Please make allo ka paratha (potato stuffed flatbread)
1. Boil some potatoes
2.mash them and add chilly powder, salt , chat masala , and a lemon
3.knead a dough using wheat flour and water
4. Roll the dough into a medium size ball and roll it in a circle
5. Add your potato mix in the middle and fold it and roll it in a circle .
6. In a pan put your paratha and roast it on one side.
7. Turn it and put clarified butter and flip
8. Do same with the other side till both the sides become flaky .
9 . Eat is with some normal butter
That looked great. I've never seen those before. Also, tamarind sauces are among the greatest food gifts India has given the world. Of many.
Thank you but i tell you it's not completely like this there are lot changes like there are two chutney one spicy and one sweet . Spicy it's not red hot it's different . And offcourse the eating style is completely different like spoon is something very useless thing.
Gratis on 3 million! Literally just refreshed the page.
Grats* thanks autocorrect.
Congratulations Lisa 3 million wish you 100 million💗👥💸
I don't know if this is weird to anyone or not. But I grew up eating Cold spaghetti. Mom would make the cold spaghetti noodles then once in a bowl she would pour in a bit of soy sauce and a bit of sesame seed oil. when i got older I would use the same but add a few more things like chili powder, sesame seeds and green onions (and sometimes a soft boiled egg in it or on the side)
I miss going to Indian restaurants 🥺 that little bread with the air bubbles was always the BOMB!!
Congratulations on 3 Million Subscribers
Hey, this is Fuchka (a Bangladeshi street food). I'm really glad you tried it!
Well originally instead of chickpea mashed potatoes with lots of chat masala nd spices are used and also panipuri comes with mint and chilly water not just tamarind water, also nicely chopped onions and sev is put upon the puri… love your videos lisa.. try making pani puri its super easy 👍
for day 8 i really suggest Kabsa! its basically a rice dish in with Chicken or any type of meat and we eat this dish in SAUDI ARABIA!
Lisa you should try Sopes. It’s a Mexican dish that consists of a fried masa type of base and is usually topped with something savory. In my family we usually make queso, beans, potato or meat sopes and top with cabbage, queso fresco, and a smooth, blended, tomato salsa. How they’re made depends on the region but they’re so good🤤
This is my childhood food. At any wedding (only Indians or Pakistanis know how good and fun desi weddings are)me and my brother used to eat like at least 10 of them (in Pakistan they’re called gol gapa) and we would never get bored of them.
The way she pronounced Desi makes me want to cry 😭😭😭😭
This is actually fuchka and is made in Bangladesh. Pani Puri in India is a little different with little amount of stuffing and more watery liquid
The door dash tablet was going off in the background and my fast food mindset was kicking in
Being an Indian so proud to watch you have the panipuri/golgappa/phuchka as it is called in different parts of India.
You should try the lunchtime meal I grew up with! It was a peanut butter and jam sandwich (creamy pb and strawberry jam, more jammy than pb-y) Sour cream and onion lays on the side and an ice cold can of Mug root beer. I would sometimes eat the chips and the sandwich at once for a sweet salty mix 😊💕
I think its awsome that someone who lives in the same town as me is doing an awsome job sharing some local stuff!
You should also try the below dishes

Its Bangladeshi style Pani puri which we call fuska in Bangladesh

Even though i'm indian i don't really like pani puri too much but i love dahi puri. I recommend you try that

Make a sandwich 🥪 like me(for one person):
1.Take mayonnaise (2 teaspoons) add black pepper.
2.Add finely chopped onion tomato capcicum (or veges of ur choice)
3. Add 1/4 teaspoon chaat masala, chilli flakes n mixed herbs and a full chesse slice in between two breads
Grill it n enjoy ✨❣️❤️🥰
I think you should try Picadillo with rice and black beans, it’s a traditional Cuban dish!
Try
vada pav with garlic chutney and toasted using butter on tawa.
Pani puri with the green jaljira
Sprinkle some lemon juice on your biryani 😍😍😍
And finally dessert can be Dahi bada
Tbh this is not even the real Pani puri come to India and eat it i swear U ARE GONNA FALL IN LOVE WITH THAT

Almost 3 million subs! U can do it Lisa
Heyy i have a recipe...
in a bowl add 1/2 tsp dark soy sauce,1tsp schezwan sauce,1tsp ketchup, 1 green chili, white sesame, Maggi tastemaker
then heat oil in a pan add 1/2 bay leaf, 2-3 cloves, chopped garlic 1tsp, and Kashmiri red chilli powder (optional)
then strain this oil into the sauce mixture
then boil Maggi and strain it
add the sauce mixture and enjoyyy
ps. you can switch schezwan sauce with any spicier sauce if you want more spice
So glad that you got that suggestion & you even tried it. But I bet that Pani puri tasted nothing like the ones we get in street food 😢🥲😂😍
But still good Lisa
That is not how we normally eat we have another Sauce you can say it is made of mint leaves , coriander , water , chili's and a few spices and we actually the stuffing is mashed potatoes mixed with a lot of different spices
You must definitely try some south Indian lunch/meals like Sambar, Rasam etc- like you could get a whole south Indian meal in some Indian restaurant 🙂
I highly recommend wings with a dry rub with homemade buttermilk ranch with carrots roasted with shin ramen seasoning seasoned on carrots as a side
