When I lived in Homestead, FL we would drive by all the time and had all sorts of ghost stories about that place including stories of hovering orb lights that would be around it at night. Now it’s overrun with giant brown lizards that escaped a reptile shop that was destroyed in hurricane Andrew in 1991. When you get a chance to go you will be struck by how it just seems out of place. You can hear US highway 1 right outside the walls, with all the traffic going by. Also, when you go make sure it is in the winter. If you go in the summer or what you might consider fall in most states, you will feel like you are standing on the surface of the sun, or in a giant oven. The first time he built it was more coastal and he just used a mule and a cart to move the stones after he cut them. There isn’t a donkey in the world that could cary one of those rocks.

The song you're thinking of is Light My Fire by The Doors. They were very much into esotericism and psychedelics. You might even consider doing an episode on the use and influence of psychedelics on the music of the late 60's, early 70's. That would be very interesting and full of material in your guy's wheelhouse.

There was an abandoned grave yard behind an auto shop and hair salon. On the other end was a gas station. The ladies in the salon told us a water witch had been hired to detect how many graves were there !. He came and walked the grounds with a forked stick. I was totally shocked when records were later found that confirmed there were over 150 graves there, along with mass cholera graves just as he said !. Late 1980's Kansas City, / Independence, Mo.

    1. I just received your book & will start reading it in a few days. I have to finish IDE Thomas's Omega Conspiracy first. If anyone can give me more book recommendations for high strangeness topics from a Christian perspective I'm all ears.
    2. Tesla was Serb. His family was from an area now part of the nation of Croatia. At the time there was no independent nation of Croatia.
    3. Regarding ancient roads & ley lines, it occurs to me that oftentimes ancient roads go way back to even more ancient hunting trails used by hunter-gatherer peoples. These in turn followed the movement patterns of game animals. Perhaps it's the animals who have an innate sense of where these lines run. The animals follow the energy, the hunters follow the animals, the ancient civilizations follow the hunters' trails & the modern roads follow the ancient ones? Just a theory, but I thought it worth sharing.
    4. “If Christians would finally take back Hagia Sophia…” “So take me back to Constantinople! No you can't go back to Constantinople. Been a long time gone, Constantinople.” (Deep cut)

I had a professor, former missionary to a tribal people in South America if I'm remembering correctly. One of the young babies in the tribe passed away suddenly and the tribe was convinced it was witchcraft. They invited the missionaries to come to a ceremony that night about it. They had a long bamboo pole set up on a perch, and someone started chanting. After awhile of sitting uncomfortably and watching, the pole began to move on its own. My professor and his wife started to pray as it vibrated higher and higher until it launched itself out of the fork in the perch and began to bounce around back and forth among the tribespeople. The missionaries discovered later that if anyone had been touched by the pole, they would have been executed because it was a sign that they had been the cause of the child's death. The missionaries prayed throughout the duration of the bouncing until it ultimately stopped, having not touched anyone.
Take it as you will, but it seems to me the spirits enjoy worship, and they'll continue their party tricks so long as people are willing to continue singing their songs.

Some more food for thought in regards to God and the mysterious power of sound-let us not forget that God spoke the universe into existence. It is literally through the sound of His voice that creation occurred. I have always found Tolkien’s description of the creation of Middle Earth by the beautiful music of the Ainur to parallel nicely with the Genesis creation story in this way.
Also, there are examples of sound used for divine purposes throughout scripture. The most prominent example being the trumpets and the walls of Jericho coming down. Also there is scriptural descriptions of God’s voice shaking the earth particularly in reference to the end times, which may possibly be the cause of the great earthquakes in the last days.
Thanks for the episode, although I do typically find myself wishing you would dive even deeper into the theological implications of these topics 😊

My uncle used a water witch to dig a well on a family farm in West Texas. My mom's still angry at him for screwing around with that stuff.

Does anyone remember what Bryan called the style of singing Christian Hymns that can affect your mood. It was either a certain frequency or style and I wanted to look more into that. Thanks!

Kinda bummed you guys didn't address the video of Ed himself using the hoist. Doesn't Chris White's video on this subject debunk the coral castle theories? I wanna believe in the magnetic and sound stuff but there seems to be strong evidence that he just completed it naturally. I am quite curious to hear your guys' thoughts on this

"Land speculation in Florida was a booming industry because no one was there yet." Quick reminder- There were people living in Florida before Ed bought his $12 parcel- Native Americans.

The writing in the sand was rehearsed, you can see the first time the date written in the sand, as she runs to her next attempt. Too lazy to even move down the beach to make it look like a spontaneous activity. Check it out, look to her left as she is running , slow it down if needed.
