honestly yea this board is too good to be true but its a biiiit overrated now but still very good for its price at 40Usd/rm180, imagine if it was wireless, dang. Also gmk67 is getting popular now with its having bit more value with around same price, like 45usd or lower probably. South facing rgb pcb hotswap etc!
The GAS67 is really good for the money and I think people are just hyped for the specs. For what it offers is hella good but I had higher expectations because of the hype. Still super good. Really need to get my hands on the GMK67.
I personally agree that it’s worth the hype. I think you just didn’t use the board to its full potential. It’s made for THOCC so use like different profile Keycaps to avoid the interference. Also maybe add a tape mod, polyfill/case foam, and use the pe foam. Regardless it still sounds good clacky
its so many interference isn't it ? I put AKKO CS silver POM with cheery profile keycaps on GAS67 and the interference is disappear. I tried other long pole like KTT cream yellow but it still interference. so for now the best for north facing PCB is AKKO CS Silver POM (IMO). Checkout my reels for sound test hehe
It depends on the switch and the keycaps. Akko’s long pole isn’t long enough for every keycaps but it is the most accessible. I still have interference on my dye-sub keycaps with Akko’s. I have whole video talking about the interference stuff. The POM silver sound super good tho!

All north facing board is going to have interference if you’re using cherry keycaps. It all depends on the switch and the keycaps. Oil kings potentially is interference free but you are planning to get it with cherry profiles, it wouldn’t hurt to get some samples to try with the keycaps.
The gmk67 is south facing which for me is better since I prefer cherry profile, avoiding any interference. But if you dont want a knob and don’t wanna use cherry then get this instead.
Gotta factor in the price. If you compare this with the tiger 80 lite or even a kbd67 lite then it is a no contest but if you put it up against boards from the same price range then it is very good.

Honestly how is this overrated? It has everything you want with north facing being easily solved with different profile Keycaps or long pole switches.

do you need a special keycap set or do al (almost all) keycapsets work with this board?
Almost all keycaps would fit it but its better to get a larger set for the sides.

I would but if you have sweaty hands better buy a PBT set. These wear off quickly.
