Hi Roothy love the vids and the build :) Had you thought about going with an electric thermo fan instead of the fluid clutch/fan belt driven one? You wouldn't have had half the install issues....
G'day Harry, this is just a personal thing mate, but I really don't like the electric thermo fans on my trucks, and in this case the issue would have been mounting front grill of the 40.
Hey Roothy, Great videos, always look forward to seeing the next instalment. The finished Milo will be awesome. We recently went to RACQ Motorfest and saw an old mate there with a restored 40. It was in perfect brand new condition, you would have loved it! BTW, What's that under the red cover at the back of the shed? Caught a quick glimpse of the wheels and it looked like it could be a nice looking old vehicle.
i remenber seeing roothy with his arm all bandaged up last time he mucked around with fans, also guessing that aircon pump there just for tyre inflation hey.
I think you should fit the radiator a bit more forward and make small body adjustments. You have so much custom alterations away from factory and small tolerances you will not have any options if you break down since original parts won't fit.
G'day Morgan, only a few weeks away now mate, she will be ready and on display at the melbourne show. I haven't just been hiding away in the shed though, we fitted in an awesome trip through the NT to Darwin which will be coming out on DVD later this year. cheers
G'day mate, probably won't be intercooling this one, no need really as the 12Ht puts out heaps of power, working on the principle of if it aint broke don't fix it.
Awesome work Roothy! Keep the vids coming! It's just like the lead up to Christmas...
absolutely loving this build, cannot wait till it back out and about im up here in townsville fnq with a old 60 series, keep up the amazing work
G'day Ben, gotta love the 60s mate!
Looking forward to seeing this new rig on the tracks!!!
G'day mate, you are not the only one, I just want to hear the note from that 12HT!
If you don't paint the shroud bit you just bashed in I'm coming over to do it myself!
This is sure going to be a rippa rig. Looking forward to seeing her get dirty mate.
G'Day Fitzy, me to mate, I am really starting to get excited about this rig. Cheers

Hey Roothy ... Are you putting E lockers on the build??
G'day Lachlan, yes mate the E-lockers went in a while back when we rebuilt the axles.
Awesome thanks for the reply
How do you reckon you will go installing the intercooler and piping?

i wouldn't put avm's in any truck if ya round the tiny hex screw you need to literary destroy the hub to get it off
