Huge fan of your content. I had a question regarding eras CV. While writing number of research experiences should we include publication number as well? for example I am currently working on 2 research papers. They are in data analysis phase. and I have 4 publications. So my publications will be 4 but research experience will be 2 or 6???
The ERAS application does not have a separate document as a CV. We fill out the application and gives us an option to print a CV, right? Please help. I am confused.
Hi, I am a Caribbean IMG. I finished my basic sciences on the island in 2019. I ran into financial issues that were made worse with the pandemic. I will be writing my Step 1 in January. I will start my clinical rotations in March 2022. I am really concerned that I have a huge gap in my med school education. I really want to match into family medicine. But I am just really worried about the gap. Can you please give me advice? Thanks
While gaps are an issue they understand many imgs have financial difficulties and covid made it tough too. Focud on getting good scores research and strong usce.
I flunked during my mbbs and also due to health issue I couldn’t appear in my university exam so my 3 years got wasted before I finally graduated last year. I have yet not appeared my any steps feeling disappointed about my USMLE dream. Will i be able to make it through? Gaps during mbbs will not let me get into US residency?
Thank you for such an informative video. For the details of the application, can pronounced be used like "I was in charge.." or should pronouns be avoided?
Hello, thank you so much for all your videos. Just a suggestion for your future videos: Please improve the editing of your videos, they are very distracting and devalue all the good information you provide.

ERAS is the website in which CV is uploaded right?
which format should I go with? Bullets or paragraphs?
thank you very much for your content. what should I think if I have made typo in eras CV? waiting for your reply.
depends on type Ignore minor ones if submitted

It depends. If publications were part of reserach experiences the experience should just mention you have 4 pubs and list them in publication section.

You are correct that supplemental eras is separate and eras cv is separate
I have a question- maximum how many pages CV can we have ?
No max that I know of, but you can only have 10 experiences.

Do you work with us citizens at Caribbean schools to help for residency?
Yes ofcourse we do. Infact we do have Caribbean graduates as our panelists as well. About 15% of our students tend to be Caribbean graduates

Usmle scores including step 3 will be very important plus USCE. You can match.

As long as you are consistent either way is fine.

that should not be a serious issue. you can match easily
Do we need to complete an overseas internship after graduation to apply for USMLE and move to usa?
US clinical experience is not required but highly desired for Match
Very very annoying video in the beginning..
Can I know reason for the same?
