I kept watching because of the cool song.
Fianly I was waiting so long for this to happen 😁
LXRA, on the big build website you guys said you removed the boom gates at station street, officer, any pictures of it???
So East Pakenham is replacing Mont Albert station then? Bit of a longer commute there...
No, Union station is replacing mont Albert and Surrey Hills station. East Pakenham is an extension.
@@JTRAIN Much closer to Surrey Hills site though - the Government should be trying to increase access to public transport options, not add another 500m walk from where a station was previously located for the last 100+ years.
If the argument is that all new platforms need to be straight, then there's a suitable section just to the east of the original Mont Albert station.
The LXRP has permanently worsened Mont Albert and Surrey Hills, and reduced (rather than increased) these "open spaces" they're so proud of.
I would say the new East Pakenham Station which is the new terminus of the Pakenham Line and the new Union Station on the Belgrave/Lilydale line should replace both the former Mont Albert and Surrey Hills Stations then.
Hooray, Safety is Important
When is Seaford station
After 4 years
What is happening about the Webster Street, Dandenong, level crossing?.
That’s going to be an underpass between Cheltenham Rd and the highway now, too hard to remove the crossing exactly where it is now. bigbuild.vic.gov.au/library/level-crossing-removal-project/cran-pak/webster/fact-sheets/webster-street-selecting-best-designs-factsheet-november-2023
Soon around a year
@@theupperhiker7262 I filmed that level crossing with my digital camcorder about 5 years ago because I heard at that time that it was going to be removed soon and it still isn't even close to being removed yet.
