Spanakopita Mac and Cheese MUKBANG | Feta Pasta + Mac and Cheese Hack!

- Today, I'm experimenting a bit more with the viral baked feta pasta trend, and adding a mac and cheese hack to it! So good. Definitely have some tweaking to do on the method, but the flavor turned out great.
Since I don't have a full-on recipe yet I don't wanna steer you guys in the wrong direction. BUT, next time I will be using 6 cups liquid (prob 3 cups half n half + 3 cups water, or just 6 cups whole milk) to the casserole dish with my dry macaroni, I will place the feta side by side in the baking dish to cook, and I will bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes instead. I'm not 100% sure on the cook time, I just know the feta needed a bit longer by the time the mac was done. I will also be using frozen spinach that I drain well and heat up in the mic before adding to the pasta when it comes out. You can also try adding fresh spinach and your parm to the casserole before it goes into the oven. We're wanting to make sure the feta is loose enough and the pasta is cooked appropriately, and not taking the temperature down when it comes out of the oven.

For a party I would take the Mac n cheese and put some down on the phyllo and wrap the phyllo dough around it to form a triangle pocket and bake. 👍🏻👍🏻 ❤️❤️✌🏻 love your ideas! So creative and no boundaries or rules! You just go with what you love and want! That’s real cooking baby!! 😝😝👍🏻👍🏻💋

@@andrianapap1740 actually it doesn’t. I’ve tried it with regular Mac n cheese. You have to have the Mac n cheese a day old refrigerated . Kind of the same concept as fried Mac n cheese balls. 👍🏻👍🏻

Yummi - I will certainly try this recipe, cooking feta and noodles first until very al dente, then add the rest of the cheese and the spinach, mix well, top with the uncooked filo sheets and bake everything togehter until finished. Using butter or a mixture of butter and oil for the filo could also work well.

I need to ask this... I really don't like feta in Gyro's. Realizing this helped for me to enjoy Gyro. So could someone such as myself enjoy Feta in the mac & cheese?? Just curious.
No I don't think it would be a great combination for you
Cooking it with other ingredients may help mask the sharp taste of feta. In a gyro, it is in its original form. Try a small batch recipe!

You should try baking the Mac and cheese then add the phyllo at the end and let it bake together
