Quick info for my fellow plus size pals: this pattern will absolutly work for you too, just adjust where she already tells you to adjust to your size! Great tutorial for beginners, looks amazing
@@techerowesley6935 I also made this recently! Following the exact same sizing as Chenda indeed resulted in the 100g of yarn that she also mentioned at the beginning during the "materials" needed.
I love this top, it's so comfortable and fits great! if anyone's getting weird "steps" when decreasing for the triangle part, I recommend switching HDC2tog to HDC3tog using the stitch before stitch marker, stitch with the stitch chain marker (which is used for HDC2tog in the video) and the chain2 from the previous round - doesn't reduce/add any stitches, does not add bulk in any way but gets rid of the "steps" that show up with my stiff cotton yarn
Absolutely a beautiful top. I had such an awesome time making it. I made a size that was roughly a medium large with a size 3mm hook. I used one full skein and a very small amount of hobby lobby’s high lights, which is 380 yards per 100g. So in total I used about 400/420 yards.
I love your tutorials, your early videos inspired me to start crocheting a year ago and I'm still obsessed with all your patterns. Thank you so much! ♡
Hace mucho no tenía tiempo para hacer crochet, pero con esta belleza 😍 tengo que volver a hacerlo! Me encanta 💖 que siempre nos enseñas algo nuevo y más hermoso que lo anterior, gracias!
I did this a year ago but was in a hurry and made it short so now I'm unweaving to add more length. Thank you for this! I'm making it with a 1mm crochet hook so I'll be here for a while😅
Very beautiful tutorial thank you for sharing 🙏 I made 2 tutorials from your work and send them to my granddaughters and they loved it and fits good 👍 thank you again for sharing 🙏
Hi Chenda! Thank you so much for this tutorial!! I was wondering if you could tell me what measurements I needed to get? I want to gift this for a friend. It seems like measurements are: strap (from chest to shoulder), breast covering..should I also be doing the waist all the way around or do measurement front going across and also back going across? Hope this make sense!
Absolutely love this tutorial and I want to make for a friend who isn't in close proximity to size it on her. How do I get to know when it's the right size for her bust.
Hello, I'm a Korean subscriber Thanks to such a kind tutorial, I was able to make it easily Thank you so much I've already made two of your pieces I'll always cheer for you💓💓💓💓
Hello @Chenda DIY, I made this corset and it is absolutely gorgeous but it doesn’t fit me so I was wondering if I can’t sell it, I don’t want to sell something that you made without your permission. I love your videos and I hope you see this comment ❤❤😊
have a question, so when she starts to do the triangle for the bottom of the shirt was it unequal? because for me it is. should i just keep on going and it will be straight the more i crochet?
Hello Chenda👋🏻 I'm a college student and I really love all of your crochet works. I am planning to sell my crochet works to help my financial needs and your channel is one of those who really helped me a lot. I was wondering If I could sell my crochet works that I made using your tutorials? 🥺
It could be great to know how many time you took to crochet your project for the future videos I think ! Like you could have a video called : what you can crochet in 3/10/20/100 hours, it could me very interesting
I love this top SO much, but I’m getting stuck on the front part and I can’t figure out how to word my question for Google so I’ll try in the comments here 😭 Forgive me if I’m not explaining myself clearly, but… when making the front part that connects the two cups, every time the work is turned it leaves a raised seam on one side of the part connects to the cup, but not the other. For example, if you have the front of the top facing you, the raised seam appears on the right side of where the piece meets the cup. But, if you flip the top over to the back side, the right side is flat now, while the left side is raised. I’ve tried chaining one before turning, tried leaving the yarn in front of the work on one side when I turn and do my first HDC, tried changing my tension, tried doing the slst into the front loop or back loop only, but nothing seems to work. I think if I were to break the yarn every row, it might fix it, but that would be SO tedious & there would be so many ends to weave in. 😭 I also thought about crocheting over the seams once that part is finished, or making the triangular part separately & seaming it on as well. But, before doing a lot more work… is there any technique that I can learn to avoid the bumpy seam as I go along? 😅🥲
Do you know how many meters you used? I have 3 balls of 50 gr 135 meter. Will it be enough? And I only have yarn for hook 3, I hope it will work out well...
Thanks!
I'm so sorry for late reply. Thank you so much for THE SUPER THANKS🥰🥰🥰
