To be clear, I’m not upset about the car, the money, or even the time wasted… I’m upset that he lied and just didn’t communicate with me. If he was honest from the beginning, we could’ve worked together to salvage the situation. Instead, he let it get worse and worse and lied to me the entire time. And now because of that, we’re here…
Damn bro, I’m sorry this happened to you
Hopefully there's no damage under that wrap. That dude sucks big time. He was definitely salty and embarrassed, couldn't even face you brotha..
Sorry that happend bro
Damn bro sorry that happened. You should put his shop name out so others don’t give the guy business tho
I definitely considered that, but when I spoke to the other guy, seems like he’s not continuing with the shop anymore anyways
Yeah man, I know you’re trying to be the bigger person, I respect that, but this guy has already shown you he isn’t honest so what’s to stop him from taking on wrap jobs when the heat has died down. I think you’re doing your followers a disservice by not sharing the name of the shop, if not the name of the owner. I appreciate the moral dilemma though.
Sorry this happened . I would seriously be concerned with any issues underneath the wrap . I would take that wrap off asap
Welp looks like I’m gonna be getting a call soon stickss to the rescue 🚑 💨
Should of done that from the beginning 😂
@@Jaysito407 facts, we should’ve just done it ourselves Sticks lol
@@ayyyman_ the sad truth is that most of these shops experiment on our cars. Especially new shops and sometimes they get it right and sometimes it turned out like this situation. You live and you learn bro. I’m sure you and Sticks could of done way better than this 😂
Damn perfect decision on the color wrap. Looks amazing. I was shocked to see the closer look on the quality. Dont know how you were able to stay so calm in this vid. I would be furious!!
My friend’s dad used to say: “we’re too poor to afford cheap quality”. The lesson learned should’ve been their willingness to do it for free in exchange for promo. No one worth their weight in this game is doing anything for free. They might give you a 15-30% discount or a sales referral/ commission. But free, you got the my buddy deal. Also, in life, when you pay money even for a person with low skill- they are much more naturally committed to try their best and do right by you. Even if they screw the work up this badly, it wouldn’t be over weeks of delays. You can tell they had to peel that wrap off several times and over worked it and over heated the wrap. All because they didn’t want to do the work of properly washing the car first and remove parts like the grill and lights
@@sharifmowad627 generally speaking, I agree with you. But in the world of social media, this type of deal is normal. For example, I work with several well known and high quality companies (Kies Motorsports, Burger tuning, etc) that offer me products for free or even pay me to promote their stuff. So yes, I agree with you. But I think a lot of people just aren’t accustomed to this type of situation because they don’t run a social media marketing business. It should be normal, the guy just didn’t hold up his end of the deal, I made a bad choice in who I worked with
You gotta put his name out there so that no one else goes there
I am going to have to agree.
Him n his dad apparently have the same rapping skills 😂😂
You should mention his name and Business, Only because any person that goes could get this experience with such an unprofessional place and owner. Also even though the wrap done wrong if it was done correctly it would've look so sick!
wow honestly think you handled the situation so good, at least you can maybe make some content wrapping your car
@@Vermax I appreciate that man! And yeah going forward, I’m just going to wrap the cars myself. It’ll make for more interesting videos and tbh, I’m too paranoid now to leave my car with another shop…
You can’t trust no shop in New York there rent to expensive 😂
I recently had a similar problem with my wife's Mazda. This car had TCM module issues, I knew about it from the start since I scanned the car many times and did a lot of research, however I looked for a professional electromechanical technician to do the full diagnosis and give me a complete solution. In the end, the car was in the shop for about 1 month, he sent the TCM module in for repair twice, and it still continued to give me problems. After the second time it was repaired, we agreed that the car would stay at my house, because it didn't make sense for it to be in the shop just sitting there, several weeks went by again and this person failed me on several occasions when I asked him to come and install the TCM module. Finally, he sent it by courier, I installed it and again it didn't work. I bought a used module on eBay, installed it and now the car works perfectly. We wasted about $500 plus the cost of the module that I bought for $900 in total, something that could have cost approximately $400.
Oh, and because the car was in his shop for several weeks, it now has scratches in the paint, poorly assembled parts, and even missing parts.
That wrap is nasty work. And to do it on a G80 makes it even worse. Always better to own up and be transparent by saying I can’t do this. OR, he should’ve paid someone else to do it right! But to have you pick your car up, expecting it to be a complete job is truly nasty work. I know you’ll get it fixed up but if he damaged the paint, and he continues to ghost you, I’d file a police report. You shouldn’t have to pay for damages that you didn’t cause.
Brutal bro… I’m sorry to hear. Some of those people in NYC/NJ are just losers and lack any professional skill.
You gotta oust the guy who did it. If he’s doing this, he’s done it to others too. Someone with a work ethic like this shouldn’t be running a business. There has to be paint damage under that wrap for sure.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I would be livid but it’s seems you’re in good spirits despite what happened. Just stumbled on your channel because I one day would love to own a M3. Keep the videos coming. Cheers guy
Dang man, that’s awful.. so sorry that happened to you. But I’m glad it wasn’t worse!
Also, curious, where did you get the new gen steering wheel? Im looking to scoop one up for my g80!
Keep doing you bro, love the content!!
Call them out for it, it’s not right as they are probably doing the same for other customers. Anyways, love the videos 🔥
Dang bro that’s sad to hear. Respect to you for removing the old video and not naming and shaming🙌. Although if it was me it would be a whole different story😂. Fire colour though🔥
Sir, I am so sorry this happened. We all luv our ///M cars so fully understand your frustration. If the paint is damaged due to cut lines you will have to claim for damages from whoever wrapped it. My gut feeling is there will be minor paint damage.
Should definitely give the shop name out .. u got scammed. I know what it feeels like to have a guy tell u all the right things and then have no idea what they are doing. 😂
Name & shame. If nothing else, you're saving others from this guy. Personally I think you have a duty to your followers and people who watches your channel.
I would use it for the remainer of fall & winter might as well use it for the harsh upcoming weather for now. It looks awesome from afar. How unfortunate of a situation to not work out & i understand why you did it. Moving forward this is definitely something better suitable for reputable shops. ill even be one to say reputable shops sometimes do a pity job because they rush or have a employee who does not care. 95% of the time the best hand and the only person who will give it the detail and attention it deserves is yourself.
Ride it out through the bad weather bro! Let’s re wrap next year
There's no way I could write that off as a lesson learned. To each their own, but I would totally put this guy on blast so nobody else has to go through this. Thank God he's not a tattoo artist😂
Boy was watching RUclips while doing your wrap
Nah go get your money back like yesterday bro... thats total bs...if you choose to wrap your car in the future go to this shop called pro wraps in mt.vernon
Bad listening comprehension skills.. He didn't pay anything- only materials. He's choosing to rap in the future..himself. go back and watch again. This time..listen..
I feel like if you got a matte ppf, it would have looked sick. MATTE BLACK G80 always goes hard it also protects the car
Call out the guy name and shop. Help out the community
Is there a problem underneath the wrap is the next question…perhaps getting it done by the professional is worth the money and downtime. Feel bad for you and it’s good that you’re taking this in positive attitude.
@@raldyjimenez3319 yup… I’m going to peel it all off and check before too much time passes
@@ayyyman_let’s hope there’s no damage that a good polish can’t fix. Glad you didn’t get the frozen paint 😬
Sorry this happened man blessing to you ✝️
Sorry to hear that! That sucks man. At least give us the initals of his so called "business"
Inozetek film is very difficult to use and once you start messing it up, it is hard to fix. When I wrapped my M5, I made sure to choose a shop that had used the film and had certified techs. This sucks bro.
@@WhatsyourForte I agree bro. That’s why I asked and made sure he worked with it in the past and he said he did… :/
1:14 DUDE AYMAN YOU FLOORED IT COLD!!😭😭😭😭😭 or is it fine if it’s occasional? I was always told to have mechanical sympathy.
Color looks great, can you wrap over the front?
Sucks bro. You’ve handled this situation with more grace than many of us would.
How can you be this bad? First day I didn’t even do this bad lol
That sucks man, that's why I prefer to do most of the things to my car by myself, obviously there are mechanical things I can't do, but I spend a lot of time and try to get a lot of recommendations before choosing the a shop.
Men that’s bad I had a same bad experience with the mine but with windows tint and ceramic coating he made a bad job and had a bad communication, the funny part is that I make this thing by myself but my car was one week out of dealership so I decided to trust in “experts and renamed” shop and was the worst experience ever, I remove the tints a day after and did it by myself. My advice is to remove the wrap as soon possible first to verify if any damage on the paint and second is than more time more hard will be to remove it. Thrust me I know how you feel.
Thanks for sharing, I can’t imagine the disappointment
This is very unfortunate. If i was you, I’d remove the wrap ASAP and make sure there are no blade marks in your paint.
YES! The hood comment he made...that could be a blade mark, UGH what a mess.
That’s my biggest fear with the car at this point. The wrap is one thing but if my paint is ruined…
@@ayyyman_ man that would suck. Lawyer up if the paint is ruined and tell us his name.
@@umiexperience9732 yeah, if the paint is damaged I would get a lawyer. This is unacceptable.
Sucks man. You took a risk with a rookie. With such a special car you gotta make sure you have one of the best in the business doing the job.
Sorry to hear, but the video you posted when you dropped off the car, I knew this would be a disaster, Again sorry to hear
That’s unfortunate 😢 hopefully there’s no scratches or cuts under the wrap
Say what you want but this wrapper gave you some really good content to vlog about 😊
You’re right. Unfortunately people like to watch bad news more than good
Hey man just wanted to say you can sue for breach of contract, not only did they fail to deliver the car on time, they also did not do well on the wrap. I would definitely look into a lawsuit, the wrap isn’t cheap especially if you decide to get it redone from another place or do it yourself
Wow, that was horrible. Like a Monet painting that looks good from afar but not so much when you get up close. I guess the only silver lining is that you get make content by wrapping your G80 yourself.
You gotta call out the business by name, you seem like a great guy, you deserve so much better. The fact he also blocked you, you need to call out his business by name. Protect other people from calling him. Best of luck.
Almost looks like Bryan from KiesMotorsports's car.
My car has all Kies carbon so makes sense! Also the color is similar to Ilsa Man Green
Dude habibi do you have dashcam inside? If he messed up the wrap work what if he used your car what if he revved that baby cold or something
Hurts your soul to think about :(
Holy, the bumper job should be illegal with how bad that was, shame on the shop owner. Bumpers are very difficult but that's out of this world bad. You said you choose the shop because of previous work others recommended, how he was even recommended by anyone???
dream spec of a m3 fr
Yo f that. If it was me that shop would be on blast on all socials. Like is this the first time he was wrapping a car?
After watching more sounds like he's just starting out and learning.
But personally if the person doesn't have reviews I don't use them.
But again if he was wrapping for years he should have a customer base
🤬 I can literally feel your pain. What an idiot car wraper. Same thing why I was skeptical for taking my M3 to get wrapped. First aint no way by baby is staying overnight with anyone but me. Another so many shady shops and to spend 10k + and then have dirt getting into all those miswrapped areas would have made me insane. Thanks for sharing… Positive note.. for now just park you car far away. Can’t tell from far 🤦🏻♂️😂. Take that crap wrap off the M please 🙏 😂
So basically just a random dude wrapped your car with no show of experience I mean this is kinda expected in that case.
@@jakefox3677 not random. He was recommended and claimed he had years of experience, including working with inozetek. I mentioned that in the video
@@ayyyman_Did you check yelp and google reviews from actual people? Or did you just go with the best deal/hookup? I fail to believe this guy was reputable.
Hope there’s nothing wrong under the car wrap.
@@kelvinmejia8384 me too man… at this point, that’s what I care about the most
@@ayyyman_ I just went through a similar situation. Needed some easy installs and Had a people refer me to a mechanic. He had 5 star reviews. I drop the car off. He installed easy shit front mounted intakes and lowering springs. I come back to pick the car up and he tried hiding a hole he accidentally put in the bumper while installing the front bumper back…I flipped. He actually tried to tell me that the hole was there lol. It cost me $1000 fix that bumper and he ghosted me. Bumper had rock chips anyway and i was going to paint it regardless but the fact that he did that was ridiculous. Now i do everything to my car. People suck man.
no way that front bumper is that bad. that needs to be redone. dirt will get under and lift more of the wrap. get your money back man. sorry this happened to you
Yeah definitely. I’m just going to take the entire wrap off to inspect the paint
That's best things bro if is not dealer working on my car or my self that's a nooooo!
When I saw video of that shop I was kinda sus about it. Anyone starting a business would have more pride in what they are selling and presenting. Sorry that happened. Definitely a waste of everyone’s time.
Dude I’m sorry that happened. I had my shop try to fix an area that was coming up a few days after he put on the PPF and took the paint off my rocker on my brand new M3 comp with 400 miles on it. Sucks when ppl F up our nice things!
Thats the worst wrap job ive ever seen
Dude that sucks. I really hope you didn’t pay any money for this.
That sucks bro, lessons learned though
Nah as soon as I’m blocked, he’s getting put on blast
Wow this sucks so bad but the lucky thing is your car is still in one piece . I feel like you need to point him out so people will stay away from him
…I am convinced that all the reviews and/or recommendations you received were questionable and fakes…even DIYers can do a way better job than that so-called “pro”. Two years ago, I did my own roof wrap job after months of research/study and saved a ton.
You should let us know his company name, he could literally scam anyone one of us
You should let us know his company name, he could literally scam anyone one of us
Sorry, bro, he can scam someone else. It's best to reveal his company name, to protect other people. Car looks sick with that color but too many imperfections.
Damn since you don’t want to expose them you should take it to arbitration you got all the proof on your phone😡
Damn 🤦🏾♂️
Bro tune it to 1000 hp
I could’ve done a better job😂
Bro legit that’s what I thought too… 😅
Did you pay him for this
Never mind
😮
All is i'm gonna say is no good
RUclipsrs are some of the pickiest individuals. Long story short, you looked for the cheaper route, possibly in good faith, got bamboozled. He probably just didn’t want to deal with you anymore. Not very fond of this video if I’m honest.
The guy could have simply said he couldn’t do it, it’s not that complicated, if he didn’t want to deal with him he didn’t have to
Picky? Serious? Not really fond of this comment.
@@chrisburry8147 good on you bud. It’s simple. Pay once, know who you’re dealing with, and keep it moving along.
@@LumbrJck sound advice, but that has absolutely nothing to do with your original comment (which is what I replied to). You said he was picky and that the guy probably didn't want to deal with him anymore...what gives that impression?
@@chrisburry8147 because there’s always 2 sides to the story, one which is being stated by him, and maybe the guy just got fed up with the extra pressure to get the project done, said screw it and just didn’t wanna deal with him anymore. Is it extremely unprofessional, of course, but why in the right mind would I take a 80-90,000 grand investment of a vehicle, which is prone to theft in those northeastern states, to an average Joe Shmoe to wrap a G80, logically it doesn’t make any sense on my end.
Name the shop
