I really appreciated the advice of adding black to the primer to prevent a bleed through of the wallpaper. Thanks so much!

Much more modern, Beautiful taste!!! Love the color pretty elegant blue, lovely sink top/vanity and mirror and I really like your selection of light decor, art & plants, the colors come to together and gives me hope I could just paint over old, outdated wall paper. I love wall paper and think there are some adorable patterns out there for certain rooms but sometimes we end up in property's where it is not our taste and not cute or modern, such as the type I'm looking at in a condo I might buy, has the borders up top and I just find to be hotel room looking and maybe 1990! An I don't mean vintage cute either. Sometimes these ugly places are screaming for a make over! This was a good video to give pointers and help by demonstrating what can potentially go not according to plan and ways around it. I think it turned out gorgeous honestly ✨💙🕯️🌿

Did you use oil paint over the oil primer or were you still able to use latex paint?

This looks Really good. 😍 I have an older home with wood walls. I thought it was paneling. After mudding the wall I was accused the wall would constantly crack because its wood not panel boards. So now I have to cover it with wallpaper & I'm going to paint in top

The wall looks great. For future references All you needed to do, to get the wallpaper off was get a spray bottle and put warm water and 1/2 cup of downy shake it well, and spray a section of the wall and wait about 10 minutes and it would have peeled right off. Never fail method!

Thanks. I heard about this hack after we did this makeover. I was so over that wall paper. I almost cried 🤦🏾‍♀️

I tried that spray bottle tip on a bathroom I did, but it did not work. I tried EVERYTHING. Mine was just like this one, but with layers of paper underneath and it only came off in tiny pieces. I tried chemical remover, scored it with a wallpaper removing tool, the warm water/dish washing liquid, nothing at all worked. I had to repair the wall and painted over the rest of the paper like this. I think it depends and that hack may work in some situations. Thumbs up on this video. the bathroom looks very nice. Where did you get the vanity and light? I am obsessed with that light!

I bought an older house & it has wallpaper EVERYWHERE! The wallpaper looks like it is the original & appears to be directly applied to the sheetrock. It is smooth except a few corners. I was thinking about removing it & my painter said to paint over it. I let him paint over it in the half bath just to see if i like it.....idk....
