- Coal and intermodal trains along the four track mainline between Tarro and Maitland on the morning of Saturday 9 November 2013.
Locations included are Pitnacree Rd at East Maitland, the footbridge on the up side of East Maitland, Victoria St station and the road overpass at Tarro.
On this day the pass lines were closed for maintenence work, so no local railcars were running, but there were plenty of coal trains from PN, Aurizon and Xstrata/Freightliner plus MB4, BM4, BW4 freights and down XPT and Xplorer passenger trains running on the freight lines.

Fantastic trains you have there in Australia. Thank you for another fine video.
Thanks for another great video

Awesome video again VRfan.
It seems as though the video is a bit choppy though friend? Are you using a fast enough card there in your camera as the data transfer rate may be a bit slow between camera and card, or card and computer?
I only ask as I had the same issue a while back until I upgraded from a class 4 to a Sandisk Class10 SDHC card.
It's smoother straight out of the camera (actually records at 50fps). By the time I encode for RUclips at 25fps, a slight choppiness comes into it and I can't seem to do much about that. If I encode for a blu-ray disc I get better quality and smoother video.

Perhaps just try some different options in the decoding process?
I use Sony Vegas Pro for most of my rendering and did have similar issues with it early on, especially on outdoor videos around trees or where there was lots of movement. I ended up watching a few of the RUclips vids on how to set up Sony Vegas for correct YT rendering which sorted it out.
Please don't think I'm picking at your vids VRfan coz I'm not, It's just that I noticed the stutter and thought you would like to know yourself, if you didn't know already of course.
Cheers budy
