    Brilliant stuff ! I never thought I'd be so happy to be on the receiving end of such a miniature !
    From the Black side in that position I've usually played 8...Bb7 9 e3 Na6 with the point that 10 a3 Ba5 11 b4 loses to 11...Bxb4 12 ab Nxb4. Also good for some quick wins but your line with 8...d5 9 ed Bf5 is much sexier !
    Anyway cheers and keep up the good work with spreading the gospel of dubiousness

      @HighlyCruciferous Год назад +2

      I was thinking more of a composite of the Blumenfeld and Fajarowicz but indeed in the semi-declined lines with 6 e3 or 6 Nf3 Black can play 6...e4 and transpose to a form of Sicilian Wing Gambit reversed

    Every christmas we have a tournament at the local club. Gambitten, literally translated as The Gambit, we play a bunch of random gambits with random colours, this year it is my turn to choose the random gambits, a good chance exists that the Wagon will be included. I will let you know how it goes after christmas. it would be unfair of me to practise before then of course. thanks Jonathon and keep up the good work.

    Interesting opening, reminds me of the Benko but somehow more chaotic.
    Would you consider the following variation of the advance french by black as aggressive?
    1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. e5 c5 4. c3 Nc6 5. Nf3 Nge7 6. Bd3 cxd4 7. cxd4 Nf5 8. Bxf5 exf5 9. O-O Be7 10. Nc3 g5
    My favourite trap in this is 11. Qb3 g4 12. Ne1 (or Nd2) Nxd4 13. Qxd5 (Although Qa4+ is equal) Ne2+ (Knight can't take due to Queen hanging) 14. Kh1 Nxc3 15. Qxd8+ Bxd8 16. bxc3

    I would like to thank everyone of you who checked out my King’s Row videos on You Tube. And for those of you who have not, why not. King’s Row is a uniquely different strategy board game. It is as challenging as chess but far easier to learn and become competitive at it. King’s Row allows new players to have challenging games and as your skills grows the competitive nature of the game grows with you, so you will never outgrow the game.

    #14:52 you say a winning position but king to c2 seems fine? black cant really get there fast enough? is there time to take the rook? xb8 then b4 are undefended?
    Also, while the a3 rook move is spectacular putting the bishop on a6 in front of the other bishop seems fun. If the pawn moves you can trade it and they have to move the king or they have to push g2, you put the bishop on the diagonal looking at the rook and they have to block with the knight. It might be a good position for white they have no choice in it.
