This was a fun little project. Not perfect but hey when is it ever?
This album has such great drum parts, which is awesome! Hardcore/metalcore drumming can be a bit repetitive at times so it's awesome to see that Pac has found a way to play in such a way that it never gets boring.

I like your drum set up. Seems like the left crash rubbing the china was intentional? Make it cut nicer? And are you doing the one-mic recording?
Not intentional, just a preference thing with cymbal height 😅
And I am using the Yamaha EAD10 to record my covers so basically one mic recording.
Bro I love how tight nit your set up is. You’ve got some beautiful cymbals too (that dark china bro is so crisp, I have one and I actually took it to get it signed by them at the signing here in Phoenix lmao)

Thank you so much! I do love a compact kit because it lets me play fast for longer when I'm nit reaching for everything.
And the Meinl Classics Custom Darks are my favorite cymbals! But I had to add the hybrid hats and regular left side ride so I can have the best of both worlds!

@@BendingMetal dude yes! Please do! I’d love to see one from you, your kits fucking perfect! I’m trying to find my own way of tightening my kit myself so it’s pretty cool to see that it can be done and sound so sick too.
The Meinl Classic Darks are some beauties forsure, I have the china and a 10’ splash as well but I’m looking to get one or two dark crashes or maybe a dark trash crash! I have a lot of love for Meinl 🤘🏼

And it's be awesome to get some recognition, but I mainly do this cover thing for fun. I got my own band outside of covers where I focus most of my creative time 😄

@@BendingMetal awesome! I’ve been wanting to get one of those so I can start recording covers with a mic’d up sound. Is there anything else that you need besides the Yamaha EAD10 to record videos like you do? Like a laptop or anything etc? Also, do you play to a click or no?
@@ghostfacejoel A laptop or a desktop definitely makes it all a bit easier. Recording straight into a DAW takes out the extra steps needed to export recordings from the EAD10 unit separately.

@@ezequielcapaceta Thanks! What's amazing is that (because I am very bad at any type of actual mixing) the audio you're hearing is raw straight from the EAD10.
The only thing you gotta nail are the recording settings on it and you can make it sound awesome!
