Case study - inside a modern truss roof - what to look for

Truss roofs are found in most modern houses. When inspecting them it is important to look for evidence of poor installation, any inappropriate interventions and damage. Trusses are very string but if cut or damaged they are vulnerable to failure. This case study taken in a house built in 2000 gives an indication of points of interest to surveyors.
