  • Logitech Driving Force GT pedal modification using two sets of pedals and a pneumatic cylinder as a brake cylinder and a pressure sensor. Hall sensors are measuring angle of the pedals. An Arduino pro micro is controlling the system.
    Update:
1)Precharging method B (2:23) Maybe it is not a good idea to leave the cylinder in a freezer too long (it could be bad for the seals). Better idea is to suck freezer's cold air (pulling the piston rod) into the cylinder and then tighten the adapter quickly.
2)If you want to make the pedal stronger you could use steel bracket (1:35) instead of aluminium and you could fill the empty space between bracket and pedal using epoxy.

    Interesting chair hold down solution.
I guess you could also place stoppers under wheels and also use something that would lock seat piston top and bottom against rotation. There is also a sim replacement chair piston with a toggle for that, for sure modified from a standard one in some fairly easy manner, if one were to just figure out how.

Insane mod! Why not make a steering wheel mod for the driving force gt like a gt3 or a formula style, that will be a very good video, like cuting the original steering wheel and 3D printed a very cool one

Thanks! I have (very hazy) idea of cutting DFGT steering wheel so that it looks like yoke and using some kind of slide building aeroplane controls. DIY force feedback controls would be cool but probably out of my league.
