There was a famous amateur radio operator that passed. Ah wait I had to search. It was ON4UN who passed and he apparently was an author of many great antenna books and quite a respected ham.
Why stack the gear like that? There will be excessive heat transfer from the transmitter to the receiver. Capacitor life will suffer. Believe me, don’t stack vacuum tube radio units like that.
