Yes, nice clean bench. Now you have more room. Now I know whats going to happen next, your going to look for that one item you need and say "damn it where the heck did I put it? I should have never cleaned up the bench" Spoken from experience. Thanks for the great videos.

Hey there, I hope you're well! I recently acquired an AL-811H, but unfortunately the "Load" variable capacitor is not turning smoothly throughout. Seems to get very tight around 5 through 6. As such, I fear some of its plates may be contacting. I suspect this because the amp was shipped to me with tubes installed and unprotected, which resulted shattered glass inside the amp throughout. Initially, turning the "Load" knob did not actually turn the rotor, where the knob was just rotating on a stuck shaft, but with some finessing, I was able to get it to rotate the rotor. The plates on this variable cap are so close together its hard to tell if contact is being made, or if the shaft itself is just damaged in some way which is less concerning to me.
I've noticed that MFJ sells a 282-2113, a 20-823pf replacement, however, given the fate of MFJ, I'd be surprised if this is something they would have in stock... none the less I have not contacted them yet.
I have yet to drive the amp, as I fear a short on the "Load" however, for what it's worth, the Grid Current with no load is 1700 with some vintage RCA 811A's installed.
    Two questions for you:
Is this something you would be able to address if i solicited a repair from you?
Alternatively, would you happen to have any recommendations for a replacement?
Returning this seems to be out of the question since it was a private sale of a "Works Good" amp. Thank you so much!

Is the 811 amp a good one for a first amplifier?
