Great job covering the steps to engraving on the RA2 and tips for the best results. This is an S1 attachment I haven't tried yet so this was very helpful.

In the the new version of XCS after you highlight your design there is a icon on top that looks like 2 dark squares over lapping that is the NEW UNITE button
I wonder if it got smushed together because you didn’t unit you only grouped it together. Whenever unit it starts from left to right and doesn’t jump back and forth
I keep getting a weird yellowish haze when I do anything near the sides, I have the same exact setup but near the rounded edges it really seems yellow and frosted not clear through
Maybe it’s the type of glass ornament or sizing? Have you tried the material test array? I just did a video on the how to get the best settings for your laser.
You can but be sure it's coated plastic and not solid molded ones. They both work but coated will gove you see through engraving while solid molded ones will just leave engraving marks.

@ also make sure you unite and you won’t have the problem you did in this video
@ Not sure what you mean. When I look for unite I don’t see that option when I highlight all my design elements.
